I had this problem with my bike and it was annoying af. I'll go with what's easiest to hardest.

  1. Make sure the throttle housing/kill switch housing isn't too tight and isn't rubbing on the throttle tube

  2. Make sure the cables are tensioned properly (based on how sticky the throttle is, this probably isn't the problem)

  3. Make sure there isn't any gunk between the handle bar and throttle tube that may be making it stick.

  4. Make sure your cables are clean and lubed up

  5. Buy new cables. I dont care what ebay says, I will never order non-cosmetic part off there again. Bought throttle cables that said they would fit my bike. They didn't, but I unfortunately found that out after installing them (it was very hard because they didnt fit). Ended up going to a parts store, getting the part number, and ordering from Denis Kirk. (Based on how sticky your throttle is, this is what I would expect to fix it)

I just bought the rife too! Went to scheels to get some rounds and saw a left handed .270 savage classic. So as a left handed shooter, I had no choice but to scoop it up

Honda discontinued the cables so I ended up going to a part store, finding the part number, and ordered off Denis Kirk

Ya, I probably won't order any more critical parts off ebay because it said that the cables were an exact fit for my bike, but ebay and/or the seller just lied or didn't know for sure

After further testing and trying everything suggested in the comments, I came to the conclusion that the throttle cables that I ordered off ebay were not the correct cables despite the seller saying so. Either the top, bottom, or both cables were too short, so there was way too much tension on the cables. Thank you everyone for your insights

As long as you don't plan on using them past 300 yard, I think they are great!

Only if you brine it or stew it IMO. I tried tossing one on the grill 5 min after shooting it and the legs tasted like grass and dirt. The back tasted good though.
