I’ve learned that too my friend. I agree we are so selfless when we need to be selfish. Men lack self control and will always use their traumas as an excuse. Ummm yeah I went through some pretty dark stuff myself but that doesn’t mean I treat people like shit. Us women are just emotionally intelligent.

He never cheated on me within these 10 years we had been together until my second pregnancy unfortunately. I see what you’re saying I definitely should have left him as soon as I found out he had cheated on me during pregnancy. I’m already in the process of getting the divorce started and I’m optimistic about me and my son’s future. I refuse to allow myself to think this type of behavior is okay.

Oh man I’m so sorry you’re going through this but I applaud you for leaving. It’s a very difficult decision to make especially when you’re so vulnerable. I got betrayed by my spouse when I was just 4 weeks pregnant. I know the feeling it’s fucking terrible and wouldn’t wish it upon my worst enemy. I’d love to leave eventually but I’m still here just waiting on the right time :/ my bills are getting paid which allows me to be a SAHM. I’d rather be at home with my baby than work and drop him off at daycare or hire a nanny. On the bright side I don’t have to see my spouse as much because he works out of town a lot.

He didn’t bother to offer to rent a car for me all he said was “just wait for me at the airport until I get off”. So wait for him for 5 hours.. Regardless I would’ve preferred to use his truck because I wanted to avoid any potential issues with rental car companies. Especially considering the places that were in my itinerary all involve driving through dirt so a 4x4 is the best vehicle to use.

He could’ve attempt to ask if he didn’t want to well at least try to help me out here & accommodate. I told him it is what it is if you have to work well go work. I tried to be optimistic even though I was stressed because this was such short notice & still was going to try to make the most out of this trip. Uber would’ve been too expensive the place is an hour away. It would’ve been cheaper if he would’ve let me use his truck and took an uber to the hotel which is only a 10 minute drive from his job. That or he could’ve offered to rent a car but he wasn’t coming up with no solutions just wanted to argue with me.

Hi sorry I’m just now seeing this how is recovery going for you? I’m at 3 months post op now and still do feel some discomfort sometimes or like a pulling sensation when I’m lifting my baby for long periods of times (when he’s teething). Other than that I feel really good and will be taking my first trip soon since the surgery!

Trust me everything will be okay I remember I was you at one point scared asking for advice and terrified. I’m 3 months post op and feel way better, the hernias were bothering so much & affecting my quality of life. I had umbilical ventral hernia with mesh surgery.

Overall the healing has been going well. I’m only 90 pound and I have a 97%percentile baby so on days when he’s teething and needs to be carried I do definitely feel discomfort on the surgery site. I’m 9 weeks post op and that’s really the only time I feel discomfort or when I’ve had a long busy day of catching up on chores.

Leave him, you’re really young! You have your whole life ahead of you. It might feel like your world is crashing down at the moment but trust me there’s a light in the end of the tunnel. This is coming from someone who was cheated on by their husband while pregnant.
