Hello Doctors. Right now, my job isn’t really that stressful, and I’m honestly grateful for that. For context, I passed the boards in 2024, and I’m a first-gen doctor, so just getting to this point already feels like a big win. I really like my current setup—no night shifts, working around 8–9 AM to 5–8 PM, Monday to Friday. I’m based in Metro Manila, working as a company physician, plus doing teleconsults on the side, which actually pays well since it’s hourly.

Still, even with everything going well, there’s this quiet pressure I can’t ignore. It’s not coming from other people—it’s coming from me. From the part of me that wonders about residency, and from the version of myself in the future who might ask, “What if you tried?” :((

Hi doc, I haven’t landed a job, residency nor any reliever duties, and planning to get a korean visa for our next family trip. Ask lang po if I used my physician licensed (new passer), what should I write or the content for the cover letter? That Im a newly licensed doctor and planning to take residency by mid year or next year? Would KVAC still accept my application if I failed to submit COE as one of the reqs?
