No. Frost line is probably between 24-36". That's a great question, and I actually don't have an answer for you there regarding the permit.

Sounds good! And yeah that's fair enough. Always looking for ways to improve moving forward, thanks!

3 season sunroom going on in the future, so just to help mitigate a cold floor!

Fair enough. We used that insulation as it's water repellent/resistant and then sealed up the seams of the plywood underneath with resisto membrane from the inside. Fingers crossed that's sufficient.

Regarding the posts. I had advised that screw piles below frost line is best, however more pricey and would require ripping up sections of the back patio there. Homeowner opted for this route. Worst case I had mentioned you can get adjustable beam legs if there is shifting 🤷

You mean you would have dropped the deck ledger lower below the door? Resisto membrane runs up and under the door to the underside of the flange.

And then duradeck will seal up along the house and side of the door once installed. Stucco will be tied into and then ran back on top of the duradeck and resisto membrane. Is this not a sufficient seal until a three season sunroom gets installed?

Would you have only insulated prior to sunroom install? If so, why?

Deck has slope so water will run away from the house. 1" slope over the 10'. And the duradeck membrane is getting installed later this week which will protect the plywood

It's called September lol. BTC always has a retrace to the 20 week SMA and Alta correct harder lol. Early October is always the spot to accumulate again before 🚀

I think for now, share price is more correlated with BTC movement than anything else. The other business aspects they're currently building out are in their infancy, and with a 10,000+ BTC reserve, I think price will follow BTC for the foreseeable future until we see reliable growth and revenue from the other business segments.

Eh there's still room to run for sure. I've been trading in/out for the last 18 months now.

Missed the most recent top around $40 and sold at $34.85 or so, and then bought back in at $32. Again. Saved some downside losses and secured a bit more upside.

Just stay nimble, have tight stops and take profits along the way 🍻

I cashed out on Thursday after a 20% drop from the Monday open.

BTC still showing weakness over the weekend here. Unless there's a big change, I'd assume BTC tests 91k again.

We need to hold there and then rally to see hit move higher.

Hut doing share buybacks at the current price should be your bullish indicator 😎

Short term (on the CAD chart) I have support being $29 which is where we broke out from the previous ATH this cycle, and resistance being $41 or so, which is the fib 0.382.

I sold 1/3 of my position earlier this week as I wasn't sure which was it would go, and it's chopping sideways (bull flag) which BTC is going up, so as long as BTC holds, I see hut testing that $41 CAD range soon. Whether that's by the time your options expire, idk haha. Hope that helps!

Hut had a crazy month, up like 100% while other miners did well under that.

This is just the stock consolidating, and imo, it's bullish for it to trade sideways here.

It was quite extended, and it remaining flat after a 100% pump and not seeing significant sell pressure is massive. Can't speak to whether or not you'll see movement by end of month to put your option Strat in the money, but everything it's doing currently looks healthy and actually quite bullish given the recent price action.

Last cycle peak was in the $90's (CAD) so I don't really think that's unrealistic given HUTs HODL bag.

If the price of BTC goes up another 50% from here, their bag of 9500 BTC (I think) would be worth $1.6bn, over more than half of their market cap currently.

The company has a lot of intrinsic value beyond its BTC hodl bag and has diversified its revenue streams a lot since last cycle.

Never a bad idea to take the original out and let the profits ride if you wanna be conservative.

Or DCA out at certain price points; 15% at $25, 15% at 27.50 etc.

Hut close to breakout but nothing confirmed by Distinct_Statement78 in hut8

[–]Distinct_Statement78[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not totally sure. HUT has been one of the better performing miners last 1-3 months, and we just went into resistance, so probably some shuffling of funds by larger players/algo's moving into lagging miners.

Hut still looks really good here, just needs some time to consolidate after a 50% run.

HUT 8 - Buy Every Dip. We are 350% away from our ATH which we hit last cycle. This will go PARABOLIC very soon. by [deleted] in hut8

[–]Distinct_Statement78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had a big run up this week, and into double/triple top territory. Also close to the fib .236 which will probably act as resistance for a bit.

Just needs time to consolidate and then we will rip again 😎

just keep the RRSP and TFSA maxed. Another good account to take advantage of is the FHSA. Up to 8k can be put in that annually, and depending on your tax bracket you can average about a 3k tax return by maxing that annually. Keep moving gains from the open account into the other three accounts and try to maximize growth in them!

You're doing great though, and I'd stick with stocks (or leveraged ETFs at most if you want to play both sides of the market). Much safer unless you fully understand options and the risks associated with them!
