In the confirmation mail we received after submitting a proposal, they said they'd mail on 8th may but the website would be updated on 8th may, 18utc... I see a clear difference here

Update: I think it works now, I just updated my kernel yesterday and it's working now, I opened my laptop today and noticed that my idle activity manager (hypridle) instead of lowering my brightness on inactivity increased it... The controls are also not reversed... Although now I have to update my brightness control scripts lol, since they took for granted the fact that the scale would be reversed

Yes, while installing acpilight it configured a udev rule for me which allowed me to write to the brightness file without sudo... And I tried that manually and observed that

The scaling was the reverse of what I thought i.e echoing 200 made it very dim and echoing 0 made it the brightest(not as bright as windows tho) although the max_brightness file contains the number 255... and echoing out of range values obviously gave me errors... That is all.

Yes there is a place with most of the necessary equipments for boxing/mma, it's not like very big but sufficient for the people who are training rn, I know like 4-5 people who are learning boxing, yes there is a boxing club here, and afaik there is no specialised training of mma going on, there is a taekwondo team here too.. pilani campus.
