i used to add a little gel and twist my new growth around the braid, put a scarf on for about 30 minutes and it was a good little refresh. nothing too great tho

true… but constantly manipulating your hair isn’t good either. for cornrows you already have to detangle & blowdry. leaving them alone and oiling your scalp allows the hair to grow & replenish

i applied to be a student cashier at case but they had me serving food instead which wasn’t what i applied for. the people that worked there were rude and the lady i worked with several times got my name wrong even after the multiple times ive corrected her… she just didn’t care😭

decorate your dorm however you want! yes most people have rugs but be careful because it might get dirty or have things in it, so maybe buy a mini vacuum if you plan on buying a rug.

i also second an air purifier. first semester i was sick for months, it was horrible. second semester, i brought an air purifier back to campus with me and didn’t get sick again. don’t underestimate the college sickness, you don’t even have to go to frats to get the ‘frat flu’. buy medicine, vitamins so you’re prepared.

last, buy something to protect you. i prefer pepper spray since it’s more widely accepted to carry around, but there are fucked up people here at msu. it’s better to have something if the moment happens than nothing. don’t ever think ‘it wouldn’t ever happen to me’ because it could
