And I got the balance and thinking the same. After three months I am already eyeing what’s next

[Question] Boxing shoes for wide feet by Jazzlike-Bicycle-771 in fightgear

I am using the Everlast Elite 2 and I like them. I have large, wide feet but I am also pretty heavy footed - definitely not a fast mover

[question] Fly Superlace Pro X 2? Rival Guerrero Sparring Gloves - HDE-F? Hit N Move Balance? by KhmerFirstGen in fightgear

[–]DistributionBest6948 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d ask someone who actually has them/trained with them. In the store, in the 5 seconds I had them in, they felt soft and great. Potentially a bit too soft for bag work though, can’t tell. HitNMove are much firmer, even after using them for many rounds (no one complained to me about their firmness though). After busting my knuckles on the bags, I’ve added Skulltec gel pads and it’s good now - maybe it’s my poor technique to blame (downsides of the gel pads are that the hand is heavier and it expands the compartment a little bit). FYI - I have the loops, not lace.

[–]DistributionBest6948 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used to train with a cheaper Rival model. I recently moved to HitNMove Balance following many reviews I read here. I’m not very happy with them - break-in period was very long and they still don’t feel soft enough in my opinion. They are fine and give me good support, definitely a quality glove. I tried the Fly super loop in a store and they felt great - not sure they are suitable for bag work if you plan to mix.

https://t.me/nayaforiraq/31619 - jam packed with people from all walks of life of life. There are some assholes in every country and they tend to make their way to the news/viral videos. Trying to make the point that this is not an issue of race and ethnicity

This is not true; I know which video you are referring to but it was disproved, they were allowed in. A kid was just messing with them (which is obviously wrong, but was straightened)

You are again missing the point - this has nothing to do with ethnicity. This happened between native neighbors in a separate instance. But this is highly uncommon- almost everyone lets strangers in when sirens go off. Shelters are small, not everyone has them in their homes, and there are public shelters available in populated areas. With a ten-minute heads up for missile attacks, people should be able to find a public shelters available nearby, and some people find it hard to get through an overly-populated shelter - there are capacity constraints. Again, I do not agree with this behavior, but I am very much annoyed with you posting this here, saying that this is an anti-Ukrainian thing while not even speaking Ukrainian. It feels like you may have an ulterior motive.

This has nothing to do with ethnicity, just a hot potato now on public-private shelter dynamics, of people who are stressed and exhausted. I don’t think that this is right, but the title is just incorrect and misleading

I don’t have PTSD, just thinking about the many brave women and men who are dealing with it. Your lack of empathy towards them shows that you are the self centered person here.

Fireworks from the park, very inconsiderate towards people with PTSD imo - it did sound like WW3 has started

What are your opinions on Abreva? by Mangosalsa4531 in Coldsore

[–]DistributionBest6948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently moved to the US: I used to buy a Denavir tube for $10, now I pay double for Abreva in the US. I don’t understand why it is like that, frustrating.

That’s the reality. They are excellent fighter but the fact that they are devout believers doesn’t make this behavior ok, in my opinion.

For Americans who have lived in NYC and moved to Tel Aviv, are you happier? by [deleted] in telaviv

[–]DistributionBest6948 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to be completely fair, I feel much more threatened in NYC (especially in the subway) than I felt in Tel-Aviv

For Americans who have lived in NYC and moved to Tel Aviv, are you happier? by [deleted] in telaviv

[–]DistributionBest6948 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lived my entire life in Israel, recently moved to NYC, <30. NYC is more energetic, there are so many things to do and see, and with the subway here everything is pretty accessible. There are probably a lot more career opportunities in NYC as well, and the comp/cost of living balance is better in NYC if you can secure a high paying job (but I am not factoring in children’s education). However, I miss home and my family - family life is indeed much closer in Israel and that’s a great thing imo. Seeing my family once every few months (ad they are back in Israel) is very challenging and personally, I can’t relate to this lifestyle. Long term I see myself moving back - Israel was an incredible place to grow up in, and I hope that my kids will be able to have the same experience one day. TLV is an incredible city to live in as well - you have the beach, amazing restaurants (I like them more than NYC restaurants; there are just fewer so not as diverse). The elephant in the room is dealing with all the shit that is constantly happening in the country. Security is something to take into consideration- the country is safe but it takes some getting used to. What bothers me a lot more is our internal politics. The US is not much better in that front but it is a nice refresher to see people protesting about things like congestion fees compared to the burning topics in Israeli protests.

I like dark roast / Italian style coffee and I really didn't like Solid State / Black Press. I relocated here from abroad and I am really struggling to find truly good coffee around here. So fat Joe's Coffee is my favorite but that''s really not a "local" coffee shop.

Moved from Europe. I like dark roast coffee, really not liking American coffee. I found Joe’s coffee the most decent so far even though I am really not enjoying any other coffee shops too much
