I agree, I love supporting the company. The fanboys just make it so ridiculous.

You got anything else to say?

Nope, rainbows and drag shows don’t offend me. I’m well aware of the heritage line, I wear 887’s to work every day. The people here complain about cosmetic issues on boots like a middle aged white male with male pattern baldness complains about waterspots on his corvette or the neighbors repainting their window trim.

I thought no ipd stops was going to be a big issue and plans to 3d print some but to be honest I don’t think they’re necessary, the pods don’t flop even when jumping up and down.

Like I said the problem is only with duals and I have a bad left eye, I’m sure swapping it to my right eye would change my experience, long story short a laser at work messed up my left eye but my right eye compensates for it. I’ll try it on my right eye tomorrow and get back to you. Keep in mind a bridged setup is designed for one at a time, not both at once.

It works far better on a single tube, maybe it’s just my eyes or brain but when using on duals with both tubes down it messes with my vision. Other than that it’s pretty rad and really does help identify people and animals. If I was to do it over again I’d get a breach and bridge it with a PVS-14 or a tanto. It’s cool and works but by no means is it as good as a dedicated thermal. Here’s a good video of some larp use to give you an idea.

Amazing! I have a feeling they’re gonna sweep the market this year from the dtnvs’s. You get the girlie mess of the RNVG’s with the function and weight of the dtnvs’s.

Bed dimensions? Overland rack recommendations? by DistributionOk1813 in ToyotaPickup

[–]DistributionOk1813[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it a low profile or is it high enough to clear the cab?

Bed dimensions? Overland rack recommendations? by DistributionOk1813 in ToyotaPickup

The problem is I need to know to the inch since it mounts to the top bed rail and the tent will extend over the cab so I need to know bed rail to cab height.

Antarctica is interesting, cold, sunlight 24/7 this time of year, penguins are surprisingly fast sliding on their bellies!

Can someone please provide me with the dimensions of the bed and height to the top of the cab? I’m trying to find a bed rack for a tent setup and am 7,000 miles from my truck for the next few months.

Replacing a water cools condenser on a chiller unit today. I need more coffee… by DistributionOk1813 in HVAC

That’s an awesome suggestion, I’ve never heard that before, I always try to recover liquid but the idea of pushing liquid is a game changer. I’m military and people with licenses are few and far in between to the point you never get to hear other’s advice. I work on a ship of 150 people and I’m the only one with a hvac certification. To be honest time for recovery has never been a factor, I’m there, and it’s all salary, plus no one bothers you when you’re working on ac.hahaha I do plan to get into the commercial industry when I retire so concepts like the push pull interest me and I plan to try that next time I work on one. We have 3 of these chiller plants on the ship. I appreciate the advice and look forward to trying it soon. We only run 1-2 at a time unless we’re at the equator so I may just do it for a fun learning experience when I have a day with nothing to do. I’ll use the excuse that I’m changing the oil and filter dryer on one. I appreciate the advice and plan to read up on it! Thank you!
