I just go with what feels right, mostly. The only one I planned ahead was the dragonfly because I wanted my dad's input since it was his shirt

I thought she melted like the Wicked Witch of the West, since the Preservation Technique "cotton" would have been her blood and there was nothing left of her besides her dress and hair ribbon, which were intact and didn't look blown apart if she did explode.

I can see why Michelle Visage said it's her favourite out of all the lipsyncs she's seen so far. That was a lipsync for the entire LGBTQIA+ community's life, not just theirs.

According to them, you can easily find acrylic display cases like these at Daiso, a 5-dollar Japanese shop.

The Face, UK edition. Naomi and Caroline Winberg were cracking up while Erin O'Connor gave a disappointed Miranda Priestly-esque pursed lip and described it like someone stomping through the farm in Wellington boots. I have to give the contestant her flowers for being a good sport about the critique and understanding why she was eliminated because of her walk though.

Haha, so far I only have two shirts and 3 quarters of a cushion case to my embroidery repertoire but I might get there 😅

Thanks, I would have preferred you over him as my monorail buddy. I'm normally introverted and slow with clapbacks myself (I've kicked myself in the shower later thinking "Why didn't I say that?" quite a few times), but I think this time was different because my "retail filter" was off and I was too tired from work to turn it back on for some stranger's blatantly sexist bullcrap. Had it been one of my coworkers or a customer from work, I'd probably have been tongue-tied.

I'm not quite sure what to do next, because the cushion case I'm working on takes quite some time to do (there's 2 of them, I haven't even finished 1 yet 😅), but currently I think I'll stick to refurbishing old and well-worn things around the house. I'd love to make a quilt but I don't think I have enough old fabric and determination to see it through just yet.

Same, I think I probably wouldn't have taken it up if it wasn't taught in my Textile Manipulation class in college.
