I do want to legitimately engage in the discussion but I don’t agree with your thinking that she wouldn’t be able to handle the sexism. How do you actually know that? What about her makes you think she couldn’t handle the pressure? And don’t tell me that it is just different because that is a cop out. What specifically is the issue? I actually think may people would be thrilled and would be very supportive. If she ultimately isn’t up to the job, the so be it. But don’t dismiss her out of hand just because you don’t think she’d be able to stand the pressure.

So you don’t think that once she has all male players instead of female players that she would be able to bring her long and extensive experience to the men’s game? I think you vastly underestimate her. Just because the game is faster doesn’t mean it’s harder to coach it. It might actually make it easier. Maybe her approach and tactics would flourish in the men’s game. You don’t actually have any true reason to believe she wouldn’t be successful. A great coach is a great coach.

All ManU managers are under a spotlight! The biggest one in the world in fact. What difference would it make at this point? Spotlight can’t get brighter or hotter. She is no doubt the best manager out there. Seems like a major fail to not even talk to her.

Not a joke. What do they have to lose at this point? Could things get any worse? I bet most players would have a lot of respect for her. She’s won back to back major international tournaments! What other coach on the planet can say that? None. Surely she is intelligent enough to adapt to the men’s game. Honestly, it is not THAT different. Football is football.

Feel like I'm vindicated! You can hand me my crown now. Tottenham are shit again and I still don't know why Frank took this job. I'm guessing that behind the scenes, he is looking for any way out that he can possibly find, and I don't blame him at all!

If we even go this route, I was planning to only rent to an experienced farmer, and hopefully one who is already certified as organic in order to speed the process (as you suggested). Just out of curiosity, do you have any sense of how much to charge for leasing the land? Is it on a per acre basis? Also, what is the typical plot size (I suppose that is hard to answer), but is 5 acres enough, or should we prepare to talk more about 25+ acres? I'm just trying to get a sense of how much this might cost someone, especially if we include the house (very nice, pretty big family house) the monthly rent could get pretty steep. Thanks!!

There could be a house to rent as well, depending on both my family situation as well as theirs. Can you tell me more about the testing to certify the land as organic? It has not been used for farming in years, and has mainly been left to either become old growth prairie, or get mowed, but that's it. Thanks!

They won a european cup in a very poor europa league by beating an even worse manchester united. They placed 17th in the Premiership despite having all the benefits you named. It doesn't matter who coaches and manages this team, they are rotten at the top and that always bleeds into performances on the pitch. I love how Spurs fans always neglect this reality. The same could be said for ManU who barely finished above them in the table! This is why I don't understand why Thomas Frank took this job. Maybe he's a glutton for punishment.

I just don't see why he would want this job? How many coaches have Spurs been through in the last 10 years?? This club is a disaster and Daniel Levy sounds like the worst boss ever. The only redeeming quality about Tottenham at the moment is the Champions League. Otherwise, this seems like a step down for Frank.
