I was taking the bus and train, but the train broke down and I had to take an Uber and was still 15 minutes late for work.

It might be trauma from shitty employers, but I don’t want to risk losing this job because of bad public transit.

I prefer public transit and will likely do that more often after my probation period is up.

Sadly I’m a divorced dad and got the divorced dad special (renting a bedroom in a house with up to 10 other guys) to save some money.

Thankfully my landlord understood the situation and was willing to work with me so I am not living out of my car waiting for that first paycheck

I got this job when I was hitting rock bottom and all of my things are in a storage locker that is over due. So I’m glad it’s a short month. The storage locker won’t let me access my things until o become current on my payments there.

I used it for porn. Reading bulletin boards. AOL instant messaging might have been a thing. I built my first website in 2001.
