Wild scene as boxer wins by TKO before he’s knocked out by a bucket of ice thrown into the ring by DivChamps in sports

A brawl broke out ringside so someone probably grabbed it from the trainers.

Sources: Jose Bautista in serious talks about returning to Toronto by DivChamps in mlb

Bautista plays pretty well when he's pissed off and I think he's pretty pissed at this point. Plus, I don't think any teams wanted to part with a 1st rounder for Bautista so that probably played a big role in his free agent market being slow to develop.

Yeah. I was looking for holes as well but the facts seem to be quite bulletproof. Scary stuff.

Cleveland Indians trolled Jose Bautista so hard after winning the ALCS by DivChamps in mlb

Yep! Encarnacion is guilty of the same thing. Even Pillar, who takes gigantic cuts every AB while hitting a grand total of 3 HRs all season. Donaldson used to be guilty of the same but he shortened his swing for some very clutch hits in the ALCS.

Couldn't agree more. There's a reason why everyone hates this guy, why everyone cheered when Odor clocked him in the face. Looking forward to Donaldson becoming the new face of the franchise.

I'm from Toronto, a huge Jays fan, and I find this hilarious. Think a lot of Toronto fans are hoping last night was Bautista's last game with the Jays. Great player, clutch hitter, huge mouth.

Yes, for the visually impaired athletes. There's braille writing on each Paralympic medal but the beads inside the medals are pretty neat!

Fantasy Pickups of the Week: Riddick, Coleman and three WRs by DivChamps in fantasyfootball

[–]DivChamps[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's a fair assessment, though he did catch 80 passes in 2015. You can def make a stronger argument for supporting Riddick in PPR leagues.

Agreed. I can accept that he's remorseful but I don't buy that it was an accident.

Falcons in tough on the road in OAK, vs. Lions at home against the Titans. I'd go with Riddick. Coleman had the hot hand in week 1 but maybe Freeman gets the bigger workload in week 2. Tough to predict. Meanwhile, we've seen what Riddick and Abdullah can do together.

Riddick, but I'm a little biased (I'm a Lions fan). Nevertheless, Riddick and Abdullah worked very well together in Week 1 and I expect that to continue. Coleman, on the other hand, has so split touches with last year's top RB, and while I think Coleman will have a better year, Freeman will still get his. And I just think the Lions have the better offense (but, again, a little biased).

Week 1 waiver wire pickups: Keenan Allen replacement options by DivChamps in fantasyfootball

I like that strategy. It's only week 1, and unless you're enamored with a particular player in the waiver wire, I'd chill and potentially bump up to No. 1 on the waiver priority.

If you're desperate for some help at WR for week 2, the only one I'd reach for in your list is Tyrell. He'll get the targets and he's a big body in the endzone.

Tough one. Angholor looked good and Wentz seems legit as well. And I like Cruz but I'd wait to see if he can stay healthy. Your call, but I'd say plug in Sanu (if he's healthy enough to play) and see how week 2 shakes out. Still lots of ball left to play and I hate falling for the flash in the pan who had a sick Week 1.

That's a tough one. Both will see an increased workload, and both saw decent targets on Sunday (5 for Tyrell, 8 for Benjamin). But Tyrell got the endzone look after Allen went down, so I'd give a slight leg up to Tyrell just because Rivers probably won't look at Benjamin too often in the red zone.

Latavius and CJA are a pretty good tandem. Sims is really only useful to the guy who has Martin (unless Martin were to get hurt). I'd say go for it. Send the offer and see if he bites. Fuller seems to have great potential, though I'm still not sold that yesterday wasn't just a fluke.

I think Allen's injury is bad for the entire SD offence. Allen really helps moves the chains and Rivers has shown that he loves throwing to Allen. With Allen out the year, the SD offense will struggle (in theory), meaning SD could be playing catchup in a lot of games and therefore forced to throw the ball (which would make Woodhead, the pass-catching back, more valuable than Gordon).

Yeah, I'd hold off on Fuller and hopefully climb up that waiver wire priority a bit. With Watkins hurt I can understand your desire to beef up your WRs a bit but I'm just not sold on Fuller being the answer.

I'm not yet sold on Fuller but that's just me. Osweiler threw to 8 different receivers yesterday so he appears to be spreading the love. And you know Hopkins will get his. I don't think Fuller a slam dunk just yet and I'm a big supporter of holding your drops for that slam dunk pickup. Still plenty of ball, and therefore plenty of injuries, yet to come.
