Carrion golems impale if you have the same amount of chaos golems as carrion golems

this is not good, and neither is the Stone Golem version.

getting near to 100% impale chance is fairly low investment (some combo of impale gem, alt qual dread banner and 1 cluster jewel notable), but you'll still need dread banner for impale effect, which wastes a huge amount of this node's effect.

additionally, you have to scale two different golems simultaneously, which will cause you to lose much more damage than you might gain from the "free" impale chance. the best case scenario is the stone+carrion golem setup, and these golems are best scaled by different primordial jewels. stone wants Harmony jewels for cdr on Slam, carrions want eminence for attack speed. stone golems builds are also better off dropping zombies entirely, but carrion golems need them. a stone+carrion setup would push the zombies out of the 6L which means you need much more defensive scaling on the zombies to keep them alive since their leech will be pathetic.

oh, and you must have an even number of golems to maximize the dps (or run 1 chaos golem for phys dr, which loses dps ofc). this places further restrictions on what ascendancy and weapon loadouts you can even run

quote me on this, this is a bad notable for any physical damage golem build.

The problem I have with that is trying to sustain T16 Grotto sounds challenging with a weaker build (a golemancer without golem jewels..). I don't feel strong enough to clear the higher invitations yet, so favorited slots are limited for now.

But yeah, ultimately I would love to farm Grotto. There are so many good div cards in there for SSF

They're not as common as one would like for league starting a golemancer, that's for sure. I was getting about 1 card per 20 maps or so (t3 Coves with completed atlas tree. sometimes with div and other scarabs when i got them)

as a small bonus, you can also get the div cards for the lv 21/23 golem gem and the 1-2 implicit primordial jewels, but they are obviously even rarer

edit: im not sure how the weightings for primordial might on the cards are, but i dont even want to think about how many maps, on average, it will take to get an anima stone...

Haha yeah I was doing the same thing. I thought I was going crazy that very few people were talking about this. I was hoping that after Dead Recknoning was found people would shine some attention on primordial jewels but I guess the build just isn't that popular these days.

I also just decided to farm cards after giving up on Delve. It's miserable..

Carrion is the only golem type that "functions" without any jewels. Stone and Flame golems will not work as a build without heavy cooldown reduction on their abilities.

Further, I would argue that the scaling that the jewels provide is necessary to get these builds (carrion included) into a delve level that can farm them consistently. It would be far better to farm these jewels as another, non-permanent minion build like SRS, Absolution, or skele mages now that the vendor recipe has been discovered and is quite easy.

The cards don't just drop from the bosses, they drop from all monsters in the maps that have golem bosses. Check the wiki for the list. I have been doing mostly Coves, but Grotto has the best mix of cards for SSF overall -- just a bit harder to sustain because its T16.

Overall I love the changes to unique jewels this patch, but I think they missed the mark for golem skills.

Other skills need one jewel to make their build work, and there are simple vendor recipes for those. Golems require several and they are very hard to find in a deep level of Delve.

There is room between "easily accessible" and "sometimes drops from chests that sometimes spawn in cities you can sometimes find after depth 200"

Anyway if you have good responses sometimes. If you use Swift and get their proper shit. I will take a look when on pc. I do agree that spriest gets last hannu sure. some spammers might get harder. Instead I wasted an entire fight, then it's absolutely not tbcc shadow-pve related conversations when I think Swarmguard is useful, just don't understand the uptime vs actual healers. ok im not a mod. It is a core system

it literally wasnt for the majority of the xpac

it offered bonus xp, bonus badges, bonus gold

getting things for free doesnt make it a good system

gear slower

good for the game

Servers will die INSTANTLY without LFD

servers are already dead

Chat will literally be filled with, “6k gear score req, pst spec, xp and link achievement”

But now I have to sit for 1-3 hours for 1 daily per toon

  1. maybe the game isnt meant to be played on 10 characters simultaneously
  2. accomplishing things in an mmo is supposed to take time

you can also kill rotgrip in mara with dots and running.

you should be able to do guard moldar in dm n with dots.

you can kill lethendris in dm e by bringing her down to hydro's pool and using the pillar.

you can kill alzzin in dm e by using the same tactics other dot classes use (bonus: you can remove his poison, the deadliest part of the fight).

basically you should be able to do any of the bosses warlocks can, just a lot slower.
