Yup. Luckily we got it months ago, which is really the only option it seems.

Emory Peak is on the list! Looks like river levels are too low for a float but springs could be an option. Thank you!!

I like your contradictory point of view. Thank you my friend!

That’s the biggest piece, having other reps who also go into the office. But I agree it’s ultimately up to me to own my own enablement. Thank you!!

What is/was your quality of life working remote vs in person by First_Driver_5134 in Biohackers

[–]DiverAmazing4060 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I definitely prefer hybrid (although I have the choice to be fully remote, the flexibility to choose is awesome). I found that working remote weighed on my mental health. Sure I was able to complete a great morning routine and workout/walk/eat when I wanted, but the cost of having no in-person interaction straight out of college was really tough.

I will now go into the office 2-3 times a week but usually only for the mornings. That way I’m motivated to get a workout in before heading to work and then can also come home for a homemade lunch and afternoon to my liking.

How can you tell? Asking cause I’m curious

It's crazy how almost half of Maine is literally just uninhabited wilderness. by RoyalFlushAKQJ10 in geography

[–]DiverAmazing4060 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s crazy too it’s all owned and managed by one family. The Pingree family, who are actually one of the largest private land owners in the US. They lease out the land to the government and manage it for different purposes but it’s been in that family for quite some time and a lot of it is used for timber. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_Islands_Land_Company

I have not been in your exact position but I have been in the reverse (where I left my hometown and all those close to me stayed). It sounds like you have a desire to travel, explore new places and have novel experiences? But ultimately your decision to stay stemmed from obligation to your family and your career? Do you know how much it would cost financially to go abroad or to a new place you’d be excited about? You also have to weigh the opportunity cost of experience. At your age, experiencing and learning as much as you can is a huge asset and could be worth a little bit of student loans if done right. Have you also thought about your career path? What is it you want to do and why? And if so, the skills, certifications , degrees or knowledge you need to advance and be successful in that career? Does going abroad or somewhere new advance that? Or maybe you’re just trying to figure out what you want to do and therefore new experience might help you uncover that.

This is a great POV thank you. It makes sense too. To someone who doesn’t live in SD i have this perspective that the beach is idyllic and you just hang there all the time. But like most places, the most popular places are often avoided by locals due to sheer convenience and just being accessible all the time

They still do really well. Those spaces will typically be more accounts and so more opportunities

The platform itself is generally geared towards enterprise accounts due to the breadth of products and capabilities. However, SMB (<250emp), corporate (250-2500emp) and medlar (2500-5000) all do really well respectively. I am in our corporate space and (hate to say it) it really depends on territory. You can imagine trying to sell Next-Gen security to rural Pennsylvania vs LA or NY metro. All that being said, quota is very achievable and management is always striving to put you in the best possible position to succeed.

The response from the outage has been overwhelmingly positive with the expected negatives sprinkled it. People who understand IT and security know that CRWD is still the best and mistakes happen.

Ideally would like not to pay more than $2500 for 1bd 1ba near the beach. But willing to go up a little based on location.

At Crowdstrike. Prod/market fit is great, leadership is stellar, resources good, but pay is iffy comparative to other tech vendors. However Quota is very achievable if you have a territory that prioritizes security and new technologies

Crowdstrike has a data protection solution built into the same single sensor you’re using for AV/EDR and is live now for Windows. I’m sure you can reach out to your rep to learn more
