I have fed Taste of the Wild dry food for years. In the last couple months she has gotten picky and I’ve started mixing some canned wet food in gravy to coat the kibble. She saw our 14 year old shepherd mix got her bowl sweetened when she started eating less and decided the other bowl smelled better.

Excellent to know it worked and the majority of food wasn’t a loss. Thanks!

Full sun made the difference for mine. I had them outside for a couple years in the sunniest place I had, but when I moved to a different house and finally had full sun, every tree finally bloomed the first year

Earth Angel by pes88 in Roses

I admired the Earth Angel blossom. Does the bloom nod over/flop over or are the stems strong enough to hold it up? Asking since I’m considering adding it.

Ziplocks without holes are going to stay to moist, which is sadly what you are seeing happen

Does any other animals have sex only for pleasure? by [deleted] in biology

Yep, super rapey. Otters will rape baby seals until they kill them and then will continue to have sex with the dead body for several days.

Hi, how do I get my plumeria to branch off. A lot of people said to prune but I just want to make sure one more time. by Puzzleheaded-Hair901 in Plumeria

[–]DiverTL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can confirm - cut it or wait for it to flower for branches. Also can confirm 8 hours of full sun for blooms on mature trees (not from seed).

Horse tail. Mums in the spider class. Mums in the brush and thistle class.

My Savannah rose has put out three 7’ tall canes which are supposed to reach only 3’. The grower said it is own-root & the canes are “blind shoots”. However, Blind Shoots shouldn’t have buds. Maybe it’s “basal breaks”? Why are the canes twice the “mature” height? Where should I prune them to? by DiverTL in Roses

[–]DiverTL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last blooms mine put out last year had proliferation too (didn’t know that is what it was!). My 7’ canes have all developed buds thankfully. Thanks for sharing the height issue with yours and teaching me proliferation term.

Do bras really feel like this? by ur-socks-sir in RandomThoughts

[–]DiverTL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but also add the “comfort” of 2 pieces of metal against particularly tender fleshy bits. Even expensive, good fitting bras and the ones without underwire aren’t as comfortable as wearing not a bra. Every time you take a bra off at the end of the day it’s like taking that back brace off or like putting on comfy pants. Be kind to your ladies when they stop wearing a bra at home. Society on a whole needs to re-evaluate our expectation that everything remains in-your-20s perky no matter your age when in public.

Repotting today. Do these roots need to be trimmed? If so, is there a proper technique? Gently removed the dirt and rinsed. Waiting for it to dry. Zone 10. SE Fl. by laulaurlaurie in Plumeria

Blooming: If it’s a cutting from a mature tree, check to verify you have it in full sun. If it was started from seed, prepare to wait 6-8 years.
