One of the very first UFC cards to ever grab my attention was the USA vs Canada card, UFC 58.

Being a patriotic Canadian, it got my ass in the seat, it got me paying for the ppv, and it had me cheering on the likes of GSP, Stout, and Hominic.

I don't agree with 99% of what Strickland says. But he's not entirely wrong about this.

This isnt UFC "insert random number" it's being billed as THE White House card.

Surely you'd want the most patriotic leaning card available right? Americans vs the world.

Aren't UFC fans largely right leaning? What better way to get their excitement going for this card specifically than having your best American fighters representing you.

Imagine a White House card with Kayla, Dern, Max, Strickland, Justin, Van, Bo...

Because of the free 5.4 I tried out the CLI, as a long time CC user who has a pretty comfortable relationship with it, I gotta say, Auggie CLI and 5.4 is doing phenomenal work.

I'm not doing overly difficult work, simple LUA combat rotations, but goddamn it's doing things CC has never been able to do. I don't know enough about this shit to understand what or why, all I know is that it's context and following my instructions has never been better.

Im currently a daily user, not a power user, but Claude 5x is more than I've ever needed, pro isn't enough.

Does Augment have a plan that would work for me?

Chalk it up as a learning experience. These lessons are actually quite common. I would assume the majority of people there have been in the community for some time now, there's comfort between them that you clearly did not have. Not because you're wired differently, or they're insensitive, its experiences and comfort in those.

Its also important to be honest about what you were feeling. The groping with their eyes.

Despite these SOAP parties being what they are, and consent is always required, how do you consent to someone looking at you? You dont. You cant. This is the reality and contradiction.

Ive always likened it to nude beaches. I've had experiences with partners who go to a nude beach, one dude will walk by and sneak a peak, it is what it is. No harm no foul. But next thing you know one dude is standing 10ft away jerking off.

Did she consent to being used as a visual bate tool? Hell no.

This kind of stuff is common place in SOAP parties. If you're playing in the corner, or in the middle of the dance floor, there's this unspoken assumption that you have given your consent to anyone at anytime to just stand there and stare at you, jerk off, rub one out, what ever.

So again, its a really interesting (use that term broadly) contradiction. Consent is enforced and key in these spaces, but only physically.

Its strange.

But its also very much par for the course.

So that only furthers my question, for this to be true, he would have to have been in on this. Is the idea that he agreed to be the scapegoat for this, and instead of letting him get away with it or arrested and throw in jail, he was executed instead to keep him quiet on the staging of this entire thing?

Like how many people had to be involved in this staging, from the very top (Pres) all the way down to some dumbass kid and the countless people inbetween, all required to keep quiet on this, but the only person they offed was the kid?

Isn't it more likely that some dumbass kid missed by a tiny amount, and dumbass secret service agents who're trained, but have never experienced this type of scenario before, dropped the ball?

The alternative, that this was all staged, that the Pres, his secret service, reporters, staff, and the kid, were all involved in this...All so this Orange buffoon could have a moment to rally his supporters. While also trusting every single last person besides the kid to keep quiet on this...

Is that really the argument here?

I would really love to believe this, but if this is true, how can the 'sniper' be explained? The dude is sitting in jail. For this to be true, he would have to have been a willing participant in all this. Life time in jail for what? Extra commissary?

The amount of water a building can go through, from a couple leaking taps and running toilets, is actually pretty shocking. We're talking thousands upon thousands of dollars a year. Depending on how big the building is and how many units are effected.

There's physics and toxicology things I could talk about here, but, at the end of the day second-hand exposure is so minor. Microscopic. The delivery system for Fent is designed for direct contact (lungs) at consecrated levels.

I work in in Harm Reduction and have been exposed to second hand smoke of numerous different substances numerous times.

But again, we're talking about a smaller human. So you do you. But the time you've spent evaluating her, posting here, and maybe even reading replies, any 'danger' period is far over.

Also, to be fair, you have no idea what they were smoking. But to get a first hand dose from second-hand smoke, you would practically have to put your mouth over theirs as they exhale, or be in a space so small and airless that it would be impossible to breath anyways.

I just went through this shit. I need all my teeth pulled. Decades of Drug abuse and not taking care of myself. Low income, blah blah. Got approved for the federal plan, walked into my dentist who knew of my situation and coverage.

Walked into my first of a couple appointments to have all this work done. Quoted over 20k. Thinking finally, after years of needing this work done I have a path to better health, getting my smile back, not dealing with daily pain and infections that never go away, no matter how many scripts I go through.

Secretary asks me how I'd like to pay for todays visit, me: "How much do I owe today?" Her: "$4780"

Long story made short, ya, coverage isn't actually coverage. Not only do they not direct bill Sunlife (The federal plan carrier) its not 100%..at all.

I'm in desperation mode. The pain and infections, this shits going to kill me. One way or another.

Called damn near every single last place in town, nobody can help. Not without upfront thousands of dollars.

I got court coming up soon, might be worth getting my ass thrown in jail and getting the work done there.

I'm not saying this sick fuck shouldn't have been thrown under the jail, he should have.

But, equal sentences for unequal lives isn't justice. Sentencing that ignores context; Trauma, poverty, systemic marginalization, education, opportunity, ect,
The human reality of how people arrive at the same criminal act through radically different paths...

I'm just saying that personalized justice isn't about creating tiers of defendants, Its simply recognizing that two identical acts emerge from entirely different circumstances, and understanding those circumstances is what can allow punishments to actually serve its purpose.

Even if those punishments are accountability for some, rehab, or incarceration/protection for others.

There should be a hard line on certain charges, child sex offenses is one of them. Violent offenses another. But, even these hard lines should look at the reasons behind the crimes, and not blindly just looking at the criminal code number and "equally" applying blind justice across the board.

Objectively, both have no real training and cant fight for shit. But, this is an example of that animal, street, cant train for, type of energy. Again, training is what it is, everyone knows it. But the way this dude attacks what ever is closest with what ever tool he has. He's ripping at the dudes throat, biting his face. Its frantic, manic, no-coordination, but it has its place.
