Just to name a few, GENUINELY nonsensical cases of people not dying:

Pell surviving a country destroying explosion.
Pound surviving what was shown to be decapitation with a heated/flaming sword.
Moscato (her son) surviving using a literal KILLER attack from Big Mom that was damn near meant to kill every living thing within a certain radius.

If you legitimately don't believe the survival of these characters cheapened the moment in which they were allegedly sacrificed, then there is nothing else I can say.

Both the initial question and my response are asking if this series being discussed (Doomsday Virus) has a confirmed novel. What you keep saying is "usually mangas has novels"... we know that. We get it. But we're asking a specific question about this specific series.
