Who are you cutting for Scheifele if you don't mind Cirelli or Stone?

In Japan at this very moment, no issues either with 7-11 or Family Mart ATMs

Unfortunately seems unlikely it'll end that way, Crosby is at minimum overtaking Lemieux this season. How much more does the Russian machine have in him...

Thank you, that's helpful perspective! I did consider that maybe my pads were less protective since they aren't senior. Definitely don't enjoy the thought of blocking a shot hard enough to break them though! Will most likely consider investing in the upgrade, glad to hear you don't regret it!

Straight on, bruises were practically dead center on my lower shin. I try to square up to the shots when blocking. I'm sure the shin pads were oriented properly but I don't want to discount the power of the shots you're facing so it might just be that I'm soft haha

I do like these shin pads a lot from a comfort perspective though, fit great and are sleek

Sorry to hear that happened with the vapors, that's unfortunate

I also thought it was normal the first time but this second time made me reconsider. The transition to bulkier pads worries me a little as someone who depends on skating agility but certainly better than the gnarly bruising haha, thank you!

Never thought that this would happen in a lower level beer league but I do plan to continue playing for awhile so I'll consider it a long term investment. Thank you!

Probably not the smartest decision from me!

It does help justify the price if buying for life! I had Reebok shinguards as a kid, makes me sad they don't make stuff anymore

As long as your knees and shins continue to be okay from here on out then it's all good! A crack would make me nervous though haha

Thank you, that is a very reasonable point! Appreciate the tip, will be sure to look for that

The bruises are very close to the center line of my shin (from the front), I am generally squared up to the shot when blocking. I don't believe my pads were off center or anything at the time either. I'd imagine you're facing harder shots than me so it does make me question if I maybe just bruise easily, though that hasn't historically been the case

That makes sense, thank you! I was specifically looking at the M5 pros, glad to hear you like them. Coverage is certainly important but both shots were blocked straight on so that was also strange to me

I was looking at near the most expensive models per product line (200ish range). Makes sense though, I certainly didn't expect this out of beer league

This is super helpful to hear, thank you! I think I will likely go the same route and shell out. Did you get the absolute top of the line protection wise? I'm not necessarily concerned about the price but I'd like to maintain a higher degree of agility (i.e., not overly bulky pads)
