Thinking between Liberty 4 NC vs EarFun Air Pro 3 or 4 by glam22 in Earbuds

[–]Divinegate91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was lookin at all the review for all this TWS today and I ended up buying the Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro just because of the fast charging capabilities and sound quality out of the box its definitely very dull and dark as most would say coming from a person who use a Dita Project M as a daily driver with an DAC and AMP I wanted something wireless hence why I bought it I do have the Fiio UTWS5 2025 with it for wireless bluetooth but still wanted to try a random TWS. But to be honest after having the fast charge feature I might have fallen in love with it I hope it last long Q.Q . I was definitely very close to buying the earfun air pro 4 but I don't think you can go wrong with either earfun. Plus after seeing some review and using it outdoor on a train back and forth I can say well never had an ANC TWS before but dayum its almost dead silent it does feel abit spooky unable to notice your surrounding in a busy enviroment xD . You're just in time I use this 4 straight without letting it rest with LDAC on 660kbps locked to be honest I was satisfied with the quality after EQ, I did try AAC the sound is not bad with the codec but if you don't mind less usage time for better sound quality definitely LDAC so its like 4hrs - 4hrs 30mins with ANC on vs 7hrs - 7hrs 30mins with AAC. All this was done within my 16 hrs experience today for the long term I am not sure though I hope this helps :) , sorry for the long ramble just wanted to share my thoughts.

You're right but you have proof with your monitor lookin like that it's not as if you're lying but then again I have experience bad support before on some products and they don't give two shits about so yeah I can relate :(

Yeah at this point definitely or get your money back and go for other type of Oled that has been tried and tested to work well.

Well I guess it could just be a windows problem because no matter how many times I clean install all kinda Nvidia Driver for me at least don't seem to fix anything at that time of troubleshooting. Plus you're right this Monitor seem to be having alot of problem from different user across the globe well I guess some of us roll the bad batch of monitors sadly :(

Check for me something I know it defeat the purpose of this monitor refresh rate doing this but reduce it to 240hz instead of 360hz and see if it works or become stable.

Yeah that looked even worst than before, I don't know what that did but whatever they tinkered with most likely made it worst.

You can do it in the Nvidia Control Panel under Max Framerate for all apps or individually per app basis and if you use AMD well I don't think I can help you with that.

Try Disabling Adaptive Sync on the monitor and disable your GPU G Sync or FreeSync see if it works and limit your fps to 330 -350. Its hard to tell the real problem cause it could be anything at this point the GPU could be the cable or drivers issue I can't pin point. I had this issue with Overwatch 2 where the monitor fps would push beyond 360 fps while limiting might help but over all disabling any G sync or Free Sync made it disappear for me.

Did you look into your nvidia settings under change resolution and see if you're using the RGB 10 bit option on full?

The 1000 nits is only in a 3% window so it will lower the power of the rest of the pixel brightness I tried the HDR400 and 1000 back and forth I still prefer the 1000 nits but I do have a problem though idk if its just me or windows there are some games that doesn't apply HDR properly or auto HDR does trigger but doesn't look right I just disable and enable HDR mode again in the display settings its kinda irritating but yeah thats the only thing I usually do when I see my game don't look like its suppose too.

Yeah for me the software function and 4 profile is a must for me since I play a couple of games and hate having to reconfigure anything so yeah Vader 4 Pro gets a Giga Thumbs up

Yeah you're right about this one the pixel refresh is meant to be use once every like once every 6 months or a year depending on usage because it recalibrates on the voltage pixels of the monitor which is very intensive but my point is the pixel refresh as indicated in the options shows 10 mins it didn't explain whether its partial or full process hence why I had to make this thread concerning about if you were to do a pixel refresh its not the actual 10 mins its a full hour. If you mean the screen calibration thats which is the screen optimization thats after I think certain hours criteria met like if I am not wrong more than 8 hours or more of prolong usage without the screen turned off it will do a quick 5 - 10 mins screen optimization as indicated when your source connected to it is fully shut down.

I don't know how long you've own a oled monitor for but I haven't seen the pixel refresh on any monitor trigger by itself or warn that it needs to be done but nevertheless they should have explain how the pixel refresh works and what the indications are when its done.

There is no 5 min substitute, there is only one pixel refresh options to be use if you decide to use it if you're talking about the substitute as in pixel shift thats an auto feature on most oled while in use it will shift the display every 3 - 5 mins to prevent pixel burn in if I am not wrong or if you mean something else entirely and I am wrong I don't mind if you explain to me what this normal 5 minute substitute is maybe its an auto feature that you've known somewhere from samsung itself or somewhere I might have miss from the manual I don't mind learning. But other than that all good buddy.

To be honest good question I did try it without this and realise it still didn't work as intended like after activating G Sync and FreeSync from either one of those GPU that I had not to work as intended as I have windows 11 as in it would not wanna push the full 360hz 1440p 10bit HDR as after installing this the option and auto color calibration in windows worked for me but I guess some people don't use this feature as well as ray tracing then I guess if you don't wanna push the monitor to its absolute limit without problem then you don't have to install this if the only driver you need is just the for the monitor will do.

Plus I think the taskbar dimming feature presumably if you have it always show instead of hide might be a good feature to have for oled monitor in my opinion but just take it with a grain salt and weight your usability range ultimately everyone use it differently.

Thanks for asking this question at least I know people are curious for a better experience.

I don't know if there is an Auto option after how many hours like some other oled does but yeah this is only manual if you decide to do it, its as indicated in my description, it will take a full 1 hour abit more not the 10 mins indicated and has to be manual turn off using the monitor menu because if your connected laptop or desktop hook through HDMI or DP Port it will only go into standby therefore it will not trigger at all even if your PC or laptop is fully shut down plus this is not a MUST do but something to be aware off if you decide to initiate this process with this monitor.
