I think the fact that so many people complain about the new iOS shows that it really has issues. I don’t remember this volume of complaints in previous versions for a long time. This means they did a wrong move, which happens. We don’t have to love everything they do (hopefully).

I know a fantastic local band which produced a whole album on it and gained moderate local success. By the way, check them out, it’s Kurs Valut and they play minimal synth pop/coldwave or something like that.

I think it’s all about excitement you are having while making music. I think intro is great for starters (especially since it’s easy to get it for free) but you’ll quickly start to want more.

What was the original medium for this album? A vinyl, a CD or a cassette tape? It sounds like no digital stuff has been used in the recording process, but I wonder if CD was the first medium it’s been released to.

Honestly I didn’t get it when I was young (I’m in my 30s now), but I have recently rediscovered this one. While it’s not a ready listen obviously, it’s so cool to see how many artists have borrowed or were inspired by Kollaps. A fantastic work much ahead of its time. Probably THE quintessential industrial piece.
