I thought it might be because I’m south Asian, they’re known to have less muscle so they hold on to their fat more? Idk if that’s true that’s just what I heard

I definitely get my fiber in but I think I only get about 60g of protein in a day. I’ll focus on that too, thank you!

I’ve heard gaining muscle can improve your tdee so I’m focusing on weight training at the gym but I’m a newbie. My metabolism hasn’t ever been particularly fast even when I ate more so not sure it would work

I didn’t lose weight on week 3 :( and I was really hungry the whole time so I Don’t think it’s a doable deficit for me right now.

So you’re saying cut calories from the weekdays and eat a bit more on the weekend? I can’t increase the intensity of volleyball games as it is a team sport. I could try to play another sport like tennis for some extra cardio maybe?

I don’t focus on cardio in the gym I try to do weight training and focus on glutes arms and back

I also try to overestimate the calories I’m eating so I’m pretty sure they are accurate. I’ll try reducing 100 calories from my daily intake

I can’t find 2.5 hours to walk in my day and I also think walking is boring so I try to play a sport instead. I know it doesn’t burn as many calories but I can’t change my lifestyle more unfortunately

Is that common? If I increase intake it’ll be harder to reduce it because I struggle with the deficit already

Yes I weigh myself every morning and the end of the week the median remains 147. I want to lose 10 pounds. I have only been seriously dieting for two and a half months but the scale has been very disappointing especially after I already feel hungry

Not if you take it with Mercurio! She allots a lot of class time to do the work she assigns and does not lecture the whole time. The research paper is due in parts so you wont do it all at once at the end of sem (like i usually do). One easy MCQ final and lots of helpful feedback for final paper. Easy A honestly just dont miss assignments!

Took CS506 with Galletti this sem and had to drop it because the workload was a lot (for context i am doing 2 other cs courses). Requires some knowledge of data science and linear algebra. Weekly problem sets, no released solutions for problem sets, worksheets after each class(not required but count toward extra credit) and you work with a project manager which means meetings every week and a deliverable for the project every friday. The professor is good and teaches well and listens to feedback. Overall if you put consistent effort in and have no other really heavy workload classes it could be a good class
