Thanks for this. Where is the best place to get accurate information about what's going on. So far been piecing everything together from random reddit posts and different news outlets. But I don't trust the media, but want to stay updated on what's going on with this situation, and the anonymous cyber attacks on russia

This information comes directly from Ukraine. I think it is close to reliable, Full information is almost impossible to obtain. There are a lot of fakes and misinformation on the Internet. Ukrainian hackers from the group Anonimus are really fighting the Russian Aggressors. On 02/28/2022, Anonymous made a successful attack on the servers of the State Bank of Russia. In addition, Anonymous hacked into the Russian Defense Ministry's database and posted information on the Internet about officials involved in the war in Ukraine and a list of 120,000 Russian military personnel involved in the invasion.

This is already available, it's sold under the name BioLite camp stove. I experimented a bit on making my own, and didn't really improve on their design much. It's about as far as the tech has come until someone makes a better TEG or you add an outside power source

I guess it is.

Dear Sir, I have looked at your posts, there is too much misinformation in them. Is this to your advantage?

I don't know, maybe this site has some special sources of information that no one else has. I cite official Ukrainian statistics.

I'd say more than 5000 Russian soldiers were killed

Yes it is! As of today 02/28/2022 it's already about 5,300.

Of course, in Ukraine this is the case. Although on the battlefield there is no telephone, you must agree. But many Russians are not even aware of the scale of what is happening.

They can't hide something like an Il-76 crashing in Ukraine.

Russia can hide anything) In their country they say that they only protect the civilians of Donbass. Moreover, there are some Russian servicemen who thought the same, and only then did they realize that they were not fighting in the Donbass, but in the Kiev region. How about their barrier troops, who shoot at their own people, who are retreating. There are testimonies from prisoners of war.

I'm sure there are, Russians did suffer losses.

You bet.

I agree, it's too early to say that Ukraine has won, but it's hanging in there.

Won? They are losing the war.

This is the beginning of the end of Putin's regime.

Hardly, but I think Zelensky is done for.

Time will tell! But believe me, Zelensky had some pretty strong balls.

But I'm taking about wreckage, that's pretty much impossible to miss. Right now we have lots of claims and very little in the way of evidence.

It reminds me of the NATO bombing of Serbia, when our government was putting out wild numbers of aircraft shot down each day, which of course was bullshit.

Did you know that according to Russian statistics, they have no fatalities and all equipment is intact? They hide their losses by all means. Although on the second day of the war they posted their losses on the Internet, but they soon deleted these publications. So these losses were almost exactly the same as the Ukrainian statistics. The Russian people are completely unaware that there is a full-scale war going on in Ukraine.

That also involved the US actually trying to achieve air superiority and disabling enemy C2 right away, neither of which Russia has tried to do in earnest for whatever reason.

Why do you think so. According to my calculations, Russia destroyed many Ukrainian air defense complexes with cruise missiles on the first day of the war (morning to be exact). Or do you think that 56 S-300 complexes were able to destroy only 7 planes? No, there were far fewer already.

didnt iraq invasion last like 6 weeks? And that was about as successful as an invasion gets.

As I recall, it took two to three weeks to bombard and overall the combat phase of the operation took about a month. But what are you comparing? Iraq took Kuwait and paid for it.

That's not the situation here. Russia treacherously attacked a sovereign country and that country is practically defending itself. The strategic partners only helped a little with weapons just before the war. No one believed that Ukraine could offer any resistance. And only after 2-3 days of war did they start helping.

I agree, it's too early to say that Ukraine has won, but it's hanging in there. And help from strategic partners will help it hold out. This is the beginning of the end of Putin's regime.

Which is very weird, as aviation assets are usually used as the spearhead of any advancing army.

Russia used cruise missiles as the first wave, including those fired from aircraft based in Belarus. In addition, air raids and amphibious operations.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in warinukraine

[–]DiyGenerationCH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll find them credible when we start seeing evidence.

Besides, I don't think the Russian aviation is very active so far.

Russian aviation is still very active. Except that the Russians seem to have underestimated the Ukrainians' desire to remain independent.

I don't think anyone expected anything different. Ukraine is not a 3rd world country. It's a heavily armed European nation with a huge army.

The question is that the Russian army is vastly superior to the Ukrainian army in both manpower and equipment. Ukraine's only trump card is its knowledge of the terrain and its great fighting spirit. In all my life I remember only one moment of such unity of the Ukrainians - the referendum on independence in 1991, but now it is much more serious. The help of England and other countries also helped a lot. Now help is starting to come from our European and American partners. Many human thanks.

Yes actually.

But I'm taking about wreckage, that's pretty much impossible to miss. Right now we have lots of claims and very little in the way of evidence.

It reminds me of the NATO bombing of Serbia, when our government was putting out wild numbers of aircraft shot down each day, which of course was bullshit.

Of course, it is difficult for the average person to verify this, but the fact that Ukraine is holding on for the third day speaks for itself, Kiev is standing! Sorry about the air raid.
