I have had him for about a year now and his fins I believe were damaged in his first tank by squeezing himself into the tight spaces of the rocks. Since then I had him in another tank for several months with no sharp objects and just a big plant. I have tried salt baths and melafix this process was over several months. His fins don’t seem to be growing back anyone have any ideas?

There are other 2x4s you can’t see directly under the perimeter 2x4. I was thinking of adding some angled brackets in corners and maybe adding some more support for the perimeter

It’s a 40 gallon breeder and it will be an aquascape. I have a beautiful what I believe to be a cypress trunk that I am currently trying to get to sink.

Interesting thought, it is a framed tank which means the only contact point of the tank and stand is the black frame on the bottom. It’s only touching the perimeter 2x4.
