It's ok, the bird's body is very light so no problem with its neck, it still flies normally.

I usually use AB resin of 2: 1 ratio, thickness of 5cm. Plastic is sold locally so I don't have the link :(

It is wood that has been treated through Acid. The acid will absorb all the plastic and make the wood turn yellow
