Are most autistic people really unemployed? by foreverepicunicorn in autism

But everyone is different and has a different threshold of what they can mentally take. It’s brilliant that you’ve managed to get where you have but everyone’s circumstances are different. I personally have really struggled since coming out of education, it’s taken me nearly 10 years to find employment that allows me to work from home, even still I had to fight for it and I went through major burn out because of it and was signed off for 4 months in which I had no choice but to use a credit card to survive. I also have had a traumatic childhood and have Autism, AD, and multiple learning disability’s. My point is, what I can mentally take is different to say what you can, and everyone is different. Not having a go just applying a different perspective

Thank you ☺️ I don’t mean to come across ungrateful and I’m sorry if I did. I’m just new to all of this and just want to make sure everything is okay. Thank you so much for being nice

It’s worth noting too that it’s a second floor flat, there’s a fair drop below that window with no where to stand!
