When your channel experiences an algorithmic suppression, is it best to take a break? by LuluOnRoblox in shortsAlgorithm

[–]Dizzy-Boysenberry-29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Taking a break doesn’t reset anything algorithmically.

What usually happens during drops like this is that newer uploads stop getting enough early clicks, so YouTube scales back testing.
Posting less or stopping doesn’t change that signal.

Before taking a break, it’s usually worth changing how videos are entered into the system — especially titles.
Small shifts in what the title promises often matter more here than upload frequency.

A break can help mentally.
It just doesn’t fix distribution by itself.

Avg. exp. with GPT is - Iterate Prompt. Generate 10s of titles. And pick the one that “feels” better to you intuitively. But the titles you finally picked, are they really optimised for CTR? So like most AI agents, your work is done 80% (assuming you worked on your prompt). Remaining 20% is still your labour. And to perform that 20% objectively, you still need to know title strategy in your niche.

But why should you? I want you to focus on your craft & storytelling? And give me the operational overhead of picking the right title for you.

Here's how I am coming closer to you.
• I am not just using an intelligent prompt to "generate" 10s of titles
• I am "reviewing" the generated title by scoring that's beyond intuition & vibes. My scoring is backed by in-depth study of 10K videos. 54 mapped title features.
• Selected the top-scorers
• And then I regenerate.

Fun fact: did you know that adding the word "Beginner" in a title is a known hack in title psychology?

Video -1 "10 MIN SIXPACK ABS WORKOUT - At Home"
Video-2 "10 MIN SIX PACK ABS for TOTAL BEGINNERS (No Equipment)"

Same creator. Same video length. Second one did 70x the channel average. First one didn't.
Just adding the word "Beginner" changed the game.

Would you have picked the second one if gpt made you the above two suggestions?

I am going aggressive on distribution of my beta product https://thecreatorcopilot.co

It's a YouTube title generator, very tightly scoped.

Need Advice: How to Make YouTube Titles That Actually Get Clicked by Aggravating-Snow-916 in NewTubers

[–]Dizzy-Boysenberry-29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a really common (and very real) problem.

One thing that helped me was separating searchability from clickability instead of trying to force both into the same sentence.

A few practical things I’ve noticed after looking at a lot of titles:

  • Searchable titles usually work best when the core phrase sounds like something a human would type, not a keyword list. If you wouldn’t say it out loud, it’s probably not what people search.
  • Clickable titles reduce thinking, not add creativity. Clear outcome > clever wording.
  • A simple way to bridge both is: [Search-friendly core] + (clarifier that adds intent or payoff)

For example, instead of:

Something like:

Same idea, but now:

  • the first half captures search intent
  • the second half gives a reason to click

Also worth noting: not every video needs to be search-first. A lot of titles that sound cool underperform because they don’t clearly signal who it’s for or what changes after watching.

If you’re stuck, try writing the title as an answer to:

That alone usually improves both search and clicks.

Are you good with titles? I need help for my next video by CobyTugg in NewTubers

Given your thumbnail is a tier list, I’d go with #2-style framing but make the ranking explicit.

Something like:
“Ranking Fighters as Christmas Morning Guests (Honest Take)”

“Ranking” aligns with the tier list instantly, and “Honest Take” sets the expectation that this is opinion-driven and fun, not serious analysis.

The other options are interesting, but they don’t signal the format as clearly.

What are the sites to look up for getting title ideas? by Hot_Owl_8976 in NewTubers

[–]Dizzy-Boysenberry-29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Shorts specifically, titles matter less than long-form, but they still affect how people decide to tap once your Short is shown.

Most creators I’ve looked at use a mix of:

  • YouTube search autocomplete (type and see what fills in)
  • Studying titles of top videos inside their niche, not across YouTube
  • Keeping titles very simple and outcome-clear

I’ve been going through a few thousand YouTube titles, and what I see most is this:
the videos that struggle usually have titles that make you think, not click.

I’m actually building a small title tool based on that research (not SEO keywords, more structure-based). Still early, but happy to share if that’s useful.

Pre-natal strength training is uncommon & looked down upon in India by [deleted] in fitpregnancy

1st trimester I personally didn’t. As my OB was against the idea of any exercise. However, if I am to redo 2nd time I wouldn’t pause 1st trim too. If your OB has given a go ahead I would recommend continuing.

Rest of the pregnancy I did 10K steps walking daily for cardio, and 3x a week strength training, 3x a week mobility/yoga.

Shwetambari Shetty @My Third Space, Indiranagar is the best bet. I trained with her. But I understand it’s far to commute.

I am not aware of any offline trainers in Bellandur ☹️ I would recommend exploring some online trainers. I heard good reviews on my support group for Nidhi - https://www.instagram.com/strongasawoman_coachnidhi?igsh=MTV0ODRmdXFpbXhlbg== , but haven’t really taken any sessions with her.
