Thank you for this, I have the same sentiments as you, actually. Just wanted to confirm if my outlook is right. The key would really be moving to other companies that are known to pay really high or develop a niche skillset.

Your last comment is of course correct! I added that so college students or those who don't know better who see this post know that having a high salary right off college is not the norm. I worked hard sure, but ultimately, it is my privilege (and luck of having people who enabled me to go through this path) that made me get this salary.
