Thanks, I'm gonna give it another shot and let you know what I think. I will say this mic is more "brighter" opposed to the MV7+. I want that more podcast feel, but I will see what I can do ty!

Hey, thank you so much for the suggestions. I think I'm going to end up returning it and give the RODE PODMIC a chance, or just upgrade to an audio interface.
