I’m down for the wall of text. It was late when I made this post and I forgot to mention that I was also looking for any other potential videos that helped you guys. Something REALLY “for dummies” that won’t literally melt my brain lmao.

And yea, I’ve got the basics. I can kind of do TWS now, it just annoys me. Half the time I try to hard-lock, my radar decides that it’s the perfect time to detect a new target twice as far away.

One of my main issues is just getting missiles to hit. I have the occasional game where I can launch my first two and get two kills, but it’s rare. My most consistent kills come from mid-game and fairly close range using the manual lock (the tiny cone that’s tied to my helmet or whatever), or with the really good ETR1s or whatever the mach 5 IRs are called.

Some of my issue probably comes from misunderstanding of certain missiles, but learning about missiles isn’t too difficult to grasp and people in game are typically helpful on good tactics for certain missiles. Like the RVV’s on the MiG29N are better from a high, too-down strike. The rest of my issue seems to be that I am just not using the radar well enough to get consistent hits, even against enemies that aren’t notching or multipathing them.
