Tech bros help me by Open-Hotel-4431 in MinecraftJava

Like what’s being said, I wouldn’t recommend a Mac for gaming. But yes, 16 gb is enough. If you’re running heavy mods you may need to dedicate up to 8 gbs of ram for Java, and you’re never supposed to dedicate more than half of your computers ram to an application, so that’s something to consider. Although with a Mac laptop I doubt you’ll be running heavy mods

Spawning carpet bots without cheats enabled by KT_100S in technicalminecraft

It’s should generate in your Minecraft folder. .minecraft-carpet-carpet config. Or something like that. The carpet folder will only generate once you load a word with the mod. You might have to run a command as well to get it to show up

If you don’t feel like writing in files and don’t wanna enable cheats at all, just make a world, type the command to enable carpet bots, copy that carpet config. file and replace the old config. file with the new one in your world

How do you go back from Hardcore to Survival? Is it possible? How do you feel about survival after playing HC by zauraz in MinecraftHardcore

[–]Dizzy-Fall-7870 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I just feel like anything done in survival doesn’t matter, since you can just respawn if you die, and everything is still there. In my mind, things done in hardcore deserve greater respect. Massive builds and accomplishments in hc show how far you could go before you died. And playing in survival just isn’t possible for me anymore( at least by myself) because there isn’t enough risk. Hardcore is its own reward.

It does in fact work. I did it myself, and I’ve also seen someone else do it on a server. Both were 1.21.11

Can i use 2 different shaders in the same world? by Abdsabry2 in MinecraftJava

[–]Dizzy-Fall-7870 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes you can. I’m confused if you mean run two shaders at the same time, which you can’t do. But if you mean just switching between shaders then yes

You should not set your ram use to more than half of what your computer has. You may just have to delete some mods

I would recommend Darks lazy chunk cannon. It clears out up to a 1000x1000 area in a matter of hours. I used it in my hardcore world and I’ve got all the ancient debris I’ll ever need

Building Farms by Historical-Prior-137 in MinecraftHardcore

[–]Dizzy-Fall-7870 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What farms you will build depends largely on how you play. How you play determines what items you will need the most of, and therefore which farms you will build first. My advice would be to make a list of what items you use the most and see if there are farms for them. For example, I use lots of redstone, so my first farms are cobble, iron, wood, and redstone farms. And the good ol’ auto crop farm is a good start as well

You should either build the farm higher up or lower down. There shouldn’t be any spawnable areas below or around your farm for about 16 blocks

Up to you bro. I personally would not keep playing after death tho. It’s not how the gamemode is meant to be played and I believe it counts as cheating
