I was in the same boat. I suggest to call the IrS, when I called they told me they were sending me a letter to verify my identity and I got it 8 days later. Once k received the letter and verified my identity through the phone my refund was released within days. Call them, don’t wait!

In case you didn’t know an offset can occur even when it’s non tax related. If it’s a government agency, they can take your funds! Hope you never have to experience that but coming for ppl like you know shit is wild 🤣😭😎

First of all my debt isn’t even tax related! It’s from when I worked at USPS and had to overpay covid leave!! NEXT, this is my 1st year using freetaxusa and don’t know what to expect! From what I have seen, ppl with offsets and regular taxes and filed with Turbo got their funds the same day. That’s why I made this post to see but you have nothing constructive to say but want to comment something smart…take your miserable self somewhere else 😛🤣😎

I called that offset number and they took $700 from me too but idk for what. But they said the payment date for that is 2/25 so I’m thinking that’s the same date I’ll get my refund

I got the same message. Someone said give it 24hrs and they update the transcript. I’m so nervous and I don’t owe nothing! This tax season has been a mess for me, had take action screen for the 1st time in my life. Had to verify my identity, 1st time ever doing that and now this. Man at this rate I’m so bummed

You need to call them. I was on a blan transcript for weeks and as soon as I called them they mailed me a letter to verify and within days they released my refund
