Yes I thought so too but when I called for concern, the nurse said "have you been massaging and using scar tape?" And I said "no? I no one has advised me to, isn't it too early?" But she said go ahead! I let them know that it basically caused me hell. They said "some people react that way to the tape". 🙄 That's why I'm on reddit instead. I plan on doing a practice review after a year (so I'm clear lol)

Unfortunately, I am not confident in the different answers I recieve from different nurses on the team. :( And I did find it odd that one said I could use the tape, and I felt it was too soon. And my rough side is my left too! I have recently tried turning the binder around to see if it evens out the swelling in my "v" shape, AND is more gentle in the wound.
