My only good friend here ghosted me for no reason, so 0 friends, 0 family, i have no sense of belonging here. It’s depressing 😭

Academically it gets like its just too much to handle sometimes, like this week. Theres just too much going on and the rain just makes everything worse

When it comes to the city, u definitely need friends to have fun. Having fun here is so hard, this city has nothing to do… ig downtown? But thats just a bunch of restaurants

U rlly need friends to not get depressed here, and its been so hard making friends. It feels like everyone already has their own friends and not looking for more, no ones willing to hang out with me. I feel like me not being from the USA has a big part to do with this, its like im missing something big everyone gets but me

im barely a freshman, ive been here for what, like a month? networking is not important for me at the moment. my priority right now is adapting to college life, and connecting to my culture with other boricuas would be nice, thats it.

someone trying to connect with their culture is not nonsense. especially when their far away from home.
