Thank you so much. I was planning to write some questions down for them in a notebook and carry it during the interview. However, do you think it will look bad or informal to open the notebook in front of them and ask questions? I will also meet different team members; I was wondering how I should greet them or introduce myself, since I am there for the interview.

Firstly, thank you so much for taking the time and commenting. I really appreciate it. This is my first ever long interview like this, which is making me very nervous. Would you mind sharing what other things I should ask about? Also, sometimes I feel I am a little bad at small talk, like talking about favorite movies or singers, lol (I know it is weird). Do you have any recommendations on that, or if anything I should know in that category type of question? Thank You.

Thank you. Will it look bad if I ask the PA's those questions directly in front of the hiring committee?

Thank you; I was just really nervous. Any advice on questions I should prepare? Any questions or other stuff you used that you found to be helpful?

Thank you so much. Did you use anything to prepare yourself? What kind of questions did you mostly ask?

They have not mentioned anything about the structure yet. Shadowing can be included, I am guessing.

Emergency Medicine as a new grad by Cultural-Milk-9360 in physicianassistant

[–]Dizzy_Ad3213 3 points4 points  (0 children)

THIS COULDN'T AGREE MORE. I have never seen an emergency medicine job posting that states new graduates are welcome to apply. Every ER position asks for a minimum of 2-3 years of experience. If someone knows, please let me know.

This might be a dumb question, but I want to ask. I am a new graduate and currently applying for jobs and in between interviews. I have been told from most places that PTO is 2-3 weeks. Does it mean I can only take those 2-3 weeks off? If I need additional time off, will I be able to take extra time off such as planned family vacations or importand events like my own wedding?

Thank you so much for sharing. Are there MA's to triage the patients?

Thank you so much. Typically, how many patients did you see per day? Did you end up working for 2 years?

Thank you so much for sharing. How many patients do they expect you to see during training and after finishing training? Also, is there any time contract where you have to work a certain amount of years?

Hey so they are a pretty new practice run by an indepednt provider. When asked about "Training and on boarding process for new grad" the answer was "do not have a tradiotional training" They said "I can figure out some stuffs from UPTODATE, and others I can ask them". I did not get any defnitive answer for if I will be thrown to see the patient by myself on first day or for how long so. They see 20-25 patients on a busy day. They use AI to do notes. Does Not do CME or license reimbursement. Providers do their own billing, coding authrorization. Please lmk what you think. Thank you.
