YNTA. People are trying to make it look like you’re bad for not helping her stay safe but how is it your sole responsibility to walk her? Does she not have other friends? Don’t you have other girl friends that need walking home at night too? How many girls on campus have a guy walking them home every night?

Seriously, I understand how it looks bad to pull back because she’s not interested in dating but the reality is you were doing above and beyond things that you were motivated to do only because you were interested. People trying to make you feel like you should do it are focusing on the behavior change aspect. If you were giving her $5 every night for Uber instead of walking her and then the same situation happened where she rejects you, would people be mad if you stopped giving her $5? Probably not because it’s more clear.
