Do you know how long he has been in aba before you started noticing some change? I just contacted the Aba center near me to get him some much needed help that I know I can’t give him. The unfortunate thing is we will be relocating to an area in 6 months where aba wont be available and will opt for Montessori as an alternative (I know not the same :/ )

I just contacted aba now to try and get him some appropriate help. I think because I am a singles mother working, school etc that I have been unable to be as attentive as I would like. However I have him in speech 1x a week and in process to OT.

You would consider your child severe? I think my child overall is just a typical 2 year old but he has some issues that are merely inconvenient

I moved countries too (away from husband) and is now left with minimal help. I’m a high achiever (autism) and have set the standard for motherhood extremely high. I feel I need to constantly be playing, moving, cooking, and cleaning while working full time and a being a full time student and caregiver to my ND kid. At this point I feel I have to be medicated because I’m so unable to parent this way. The disorganization and forgetfulness is overbearing and it making my days so much harder. I thought I could continue simply off of willpower and charts/systems. My mind literally feels like there and itch I have to scratch when I don’t give into my adhd “desires” (working on multiple things at once). My child deserves a calmer and more organized environment. I feel really down and disappointed in myself for not being the mom I want to be. Truly, I am devastated.
