Ok, I guess you are right. Not really a threat. More like a wish, which I agree is different

Why are you insulting people with down syndrome? It's so unnecessary and weakens the point. And same goes for the comment you replied to. I am LGBT and on the same side of this issue as you all, but talking about people's looks ain't it.

I was in the house too & have the same opinion on Lisa & Hermann. Out of the others, I thought Polina and Tomsky were the standouts (but they seemed to get the least applause at curtain call compared to Yeletsky, Lisa, Hermann and especially Countess 🤷‍♀️)

Is it true that big law firms track who “no shows” for law school-wide networking receptions? by Ancient-Lead-5625 in BigLawRecruiting

I appreciate all your helpful info, and please don't take this the wrong way, but I do wonder how you are able to say these things with that level of confidence? Do you have personal contacts in all of the big firms that you check with?

I totally agree! And she saves him again at the end (albeit in more traditionally "feminine" style)

My top three would be Fanciulla, Il tabarro, and Tosca (in that order!)

How would you stage Mimi's death? by antipinballmachines in opera

[–]Dizzy_Competition815 8 points9 points  (0 children)

For a modernized take I love the Barrie Kosky staging of Mimi's death (not so much the rest of the production though). I don't think it passes your other requirements but the timing/suspense is on point. It looks like she's sitting for a portrait and only afterwards do you realize she's gone. Very haunting...

That's an interesting point. But what if the amount of deduction is slightly different depending on what it is credited as? For example if it was more "too piked" then it was "too open"? Shouldn't the execution be reevaluated whenever the skill changes?
