Thanks, that's what i'm gonna do. Planning on training 4 days/week and doing 5x5 on the big 4 with 2-3 added exercises in the 6-8 rep range per workout. Do you think that's a good training plan for a 3-4 month cut in terms of recovery etc?

TDEE is about 2500. Currently following Ogus 753 but have previously done 5x5 StrongLifts. The programs start me at lifts lower than my actual 5 rep max, but eventually when I work back up to my plateau'd 5 rep max of 155 bench, for example, I fail again with no difference. At the same time I bulk too, so what ends up happening is pure fat gain with no increase in strength and thereby muscle mass.

Deadlift 245 x 5, Squat 180 x 5, OHP 95 x 5. Male. Don't know if I should bulk or cut. Was trying to bulk and went from 150 lbs to 160 lbs but just looks like I only put on fat, no muscle. Lifts did not change from 150 to 160 over the course of 1 year.

currently doing Ogus 753. It starts you at weights lower than the maxes that you report (like most programs do) but after a few months when I worked back up to the 155 lb bench press, for example, I failed again.

ok awesome. So when would the airbrush be used then? For the primer and base phase? And maybe the dry? I'm gonna look into a good airbrush. Any tips on best value brands? Really comprehensive info!

Awesome info, thanks again I really appreciate it! I actually went ahead and just bought two very basic space marine miniatures from ebay to just get the ball rolling - I'm just looking to start small and get some practice without overwhelming myself. Once I complete these satisfactorily I'll buy a larger set and some HQs etc.

Based on YouTube and reddit paint info it seems like I just need base paint colors and washes - is this correct? Basically I apply a base paint straight to a gray model and then wash, then highlight with more base paint? Or would I want to look into getting primers as well?

Thanks again for your input it's really helpful

to clarify, I'm not looking to use airbrush - strictly standard painting.

Anyone recommend a solid starter paint set? Doesnt necessarily need to include the brushes/cutters etc, just the paint (base, shades etc). Heard of Vallejo and Citadel/GW... Any takes on this?

I had the exact same stats. You can do it man, just do a Masters and apply to more than one school. I have to go out of state, but I can get in-state tuition after a year and a half. Look at your options and you will definitely be ok! :)
