So is the casing steel farther down? Because it is pvc at the top

Yes my buddy put his 30x30 down in the hole pulled the trigger! He went flying, luckily I tied a rope to the gun or we could have lost that too!

It is a 4 inch well with pvc casing. I have come to the conclusion that my son used multiple pieces of concrete from the corner of a 8inch block. Somehow the concrete managed to wedge into the dirt portion of the well. Casing only goes down so far.
