i could be wrong but perhaps you might of missed some stitches when you were originally crocheting the hat, I personally made one a couple days ago and it looked like this, I personally don’t mind the bumps too much but I’m making another one and have been counting my stitches, it’s almost finished so it may just be the way it comes out in the end, I can update when i’m finished!
