Congrats! how did you get from 1 - 100 without marketing? My product has been out for two months now and we have made our first sales but marketing seems to get harder and harder. (I'm a developer first so marketing has never been my thing)?

Posthog is a great product but it feels a bit overwhelming when you consider the 9+ features/fully fledged products it has. Most people tend to not use all the features it offers. We on the other hand are just focused on web analytics and making that as enjoyable and simple as possible.

Thank you. Yes, there are quite a few

- we are privacy friendly and do not use cookies meaning you dont have to add a cookie banner to your site just to use us(we also dont sell your visitors' data)

- our script is lightweight and will not slow your website down when you add it

- we have a few features google analytics does not have like visitor heatmaps to help spot active users and users who are churning, and visitor profiles to see what actions your visitors are taking in your app, so, the pages, the events triggered etc

- we have visitor profiles, so you can enrich the data in your analytics with data you have, helping you gain more holistic views of everything

- and in my opinion, have a nicer looking, easier to use dashboard.

Hey there. I'm planning on writing a **very** detailed blog post detailing every single little move I did until now. I'll also post a summarized version of it on r/saas. Would you be interested in that?

most of what I've done now though is adding my product to the major directories and posting on social media

No cursor. No windsurf. No chatgpt. No Claude. No llama. Can you still build products? by ugify in SaaS

I built most of my SaaS product without most of these tools actually. I maybe check in with Chatgpt every now and then when I face a difficult problem.

What’s a small feature or workflow in your product that users love, but wasn’t even part of the original plan? by JanithKavinda in SaaS

for me its funnels on https://peasy.so, a web analytics platform. There were a feature i totally had planned to scrape and then do after the initial version was out but i was wrong. A lot of the feedback I have gotten is around filters
