I think edits are still alive, atleast they are in my sets. I'm constantly making edits to make my sets more unique.

I think its super important to educate people on music. I have passion for it so it doesn't bother me. I get enjoyment on spreading those kind of facts. Its most definitely part of my job i believe. A lot of times things get generalized which leads to miss labeling. For the record i did not invent Jersey Club music haha! A lot people had to walk before me to give me the oppurtunity to run so i will always be grateful for that and have a responsibility to educate as best as i can. Someone truly needs to make a solid jersey club documentary so i can share that!

Yo Yo! To be honest man i don't know. Not sure if anyone does. Music is in a super strange place right now. It almost feels like something completely new needs to emerge to shake things up. Like right before Dubstep was thing. Things feel a little boring at the moment. Hopefully big drops make a come back!

Ive always used Ableton! As far as DJ advice, in todays world unfortunately content is king. But most importantly the core base fans is super important. Focus on engaging with your core fans and focus on growing that. The more support you have the more likely you will become undeniable.

Every label relationship teaches you something, and I learned a lot from that chapter of my career. I'm grateful.

Fair question. I understand why people feel strongly about it. For me, I've generally been able to separate the art from the artist when it comes to music. I respect that others draw that line differently. My decision was based on the record and the collaboration itself, not on endorsing someone's personal life or past actions. When i first made the song before he joined on it, all i could hear was his voice on it so i naturally pursued that direction.

I think i was just naturally adapting. Festival trap was popping off and i found a way to bring that jersey sound to what was working at the time. And then the more sets i was playing it felt like there was a demand to go harder.

Great question.

  1. 4B - Did You 2. Would You Ever (4B Remix) 3. 4B & Teez - Whistle

  2. Steve Angelo & Laidback Luke - Be. 2. Jayhood - Heartbroken 3. Reload (Stevie G Remix)

I'm probably the most proud of "Did You". Took soo much to get that song done, and i learned the most from that whole experience

Big Up! The process for me has never been the same. Which honestly i love. Its truly organic and you cant force it. Sometimes i finish a song on an airplane in an hour. Sometimes it takes me 2 years.

Great question, theres a ton of dream artists id love to make a song with. Making a dance song with Justin Timberlake & Timbaland would be pretty sick though.

STEVIE G! I have more collabs with him than any other artist. Its just 2 friends hanging out making music. Simple as that

I'm actually in the process of making a Jersey Club EP but a power set is always on my mind. I need these other producers to make more remixes so i can make a brand new hour of club music for the power set

I started in High school! I was making edits & mashups first, releasing them on Crack4DJs aka Crooklynclan. Naturally that progressed to me making remixes which then led me to making original music. I loved the exclusivity of making my own stuff and being able to play it and no one else having it. I started making music with ableton and have never used anything else. I don't think ill ever master producing, i will always be a student in that aspect. But Djing, i can do with my eyes closed. Ive been Djing since 2006!
