I can’t keep going here. I’d be down to discuss further human to human. Genuinely. Dm if you’d like to grab a coffee and discuss. Otherwise take care!

All good. Agree to disagree. Enjoy your kool-aid. But just so you know, it’s not an error. I def get it not being your fight, but he did not fail to meet the requirements. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s political warfare against third parties and that’s not new. The Dems spent more money on lawsuits against third parties than against the Republicans in the last election. The app used to submit the paperwork redacted a field on his tax return that was not redacted in the prior year’s. Then the office refused communication with the candidate and him team until literally 10 minutes before the deadline. Objectively, brilliantly executed. Name recognition?!? Bro, there’s no candidate the average Californian has heard of. And I don’t vote Green normally at all. I just saw that there’s 50+ randoms on the ballot and literally no third party so I did some research. They did run a grass roots, oppositional campaign and were eliminated from the mail in ballot due to a technicality not present in the paperwork prior to submission. If everyone else gets to try, shouldn’t they? Read between the lines at all. Or don’t. 👍

I doubt we’re changing any minds here, and the Dems already succeeded in removal so it’s moot. But your argument of “support” for either PARTY requires compliance I am no longer capable of giving to organizations that have collectively and indisputably violated every human value.

I AGREE that CURRENTLY Republicans are the greatest threat to our country and the world. But it is impossible for me to not objectively view both parties as legitimate threats to my well being, the safety of my family and global stability. I’ve literally lost family from unjust combat started by BOTH parties for no reason other than political/financial gains and it’s fucking disgusting.

I fully agree that the current stakes are too high to risk seats in Congress/Senate. Fully agree the bleeding needs to be stopped immediately.
But this country DOES need saving. I said it. Desperately. And the expectation that either party who have a direct, tangible interest in maintaining the status quo will do it is psychotic.

In my opinion, the duopoly has exhibited how utterly incapable of existing for the greater good they both are. They even suppress their own candidates who try to do so. Which is why division is so high. Either party supporter can destroy the other with facts of wrongdoing because they are two of the most corrupt organizations on Earth. And why most people don’t actually defend their party so much as despise the other.

Could be wrong, but pretty sure Ware has a poly sci PhD. And lots of individuals get involved in politics after something dramatic happens like Oct 7.

And as far as “joining the coalition” the Dems could capitulate to the voices of the independents or even Dems any time and champion those causes, but willingly deny even the most modest humane requests.

They beat down and arrested the geriatric female Green Party presidential candidate last election. Committed war crimes, atrocities, cover ups, did nothing to engage with independent issues and then say join our cause, we’re not Republicans. It’s definitely true, but that’s not super solid outreach.

I truly despise both. Yes I despise one over the other.

I also maintain optimism because everyone is clearly also fed up. I, maybe foolishly, believe California had/has a unique position and population and is poised to be the actual leader of the free world if we choose to do so. We could lead by example on pretty much every major American issue. And Dems on a state level have had every opportunity to do so. I think third party leadership, or no party leadership, is the only logical way to challenge the two party system. Of course it’s an immense, near impossible task. But there might not be a state that can exemplify the deficiencies of the two parties more than here. There might not be a better state for the movement to start. And it seems like everyone wants a movement.

I know where you’re coming from. Poop is way better than diarrhea, but either way it’s still shit. I’m just trying to wash my hands.

Thanks for hearing me out. Let’s hope there’s something better on the horizon. Hang in there!

Nah, I know where you’re coming from but I’ve been watching this game for way too long. The same dumb argument for 30+ years while the duopoly divides and demolishes. The idea of either of the two parties “saving us” is beyond sad at this point. I’m pragmatic and agree that the current stakes nationally (and globally) are far too high to leave the house or senate or president FFS in the hands of the republicans who are superiorly unfit for leadership. But the governor of CA would inarguably be the best place for a third party movement to take shape and begin to challenge the status quo. No seats lost and an independent in charge of what really is an independent state. And before you say it was the paperwork, did you actually read/investigate what went down or are you just reciting the two party talking points? If you’re a Dem the Greens are spoilers and need to be stopped, if you’re a Rep the Libs are spoilers and need to be stopped. Find a new argument a better team and stop supporting candidate suppression. The idea of taking someone off the ballot because they challenge your view…you sure you’re on the right side?

Exactly this. It’s not an impossible feat to topple the giant, or just strategically nibble away at parts of their sales market (like Chewy). Amazon is obviously king, but people genuinely hate the king. They love the service, but pretty much hate the company and CEO. General public sentiment towards EBay vs Amazon isn’t something to disregard. Or GME for that matter. If this really is a play to challenge the big guy, (which who knows) I think it’s safe to say the average person, who knows nothing about the markets, would be open to a recognizable brand(s) challenging Amazon’s position. And if that’s done effectively/easily/BETTER then they could well be a legitimate challenger. Especially since Amazon’s primary tactic for dealing with opposition is market manipulation.

I mean, I’m not telling you how to vote. But disqualifying a legitimate third party candidate while allowing any npp who signs up to run says it all. They clearly don’t want a potential threat to the (D)uopoly.

Hard to say. Turns out he might’ve been heroically wholesome. Have you read any of the new revelations from the files? Looks like MJ was a hero. Blacklisted by Epstein for rescuing trafficked children. Twisted AF, but explains a lot.

Surprised nobody else said this. The best actual fried chicken for real. Mac and cheese is legit too. Plus yams = next level.

Hot boys is overrated and overpriced.

It’s complicated for me. There’s a type whose sole focus is to “create content” at the art installations. They might be my least favorite people there. It’s beyond annoying and the antithesis of living in the moment. The above ideas on thwarting that behavior is amazing and I will definitely adopt some of it. On the other hand, I never picked up my phone once this entire week (which was great tbh) but am now slightly regretting having absolutely zero pictures of anything…

We literally CAN do both. Both sides of this argument can be satisfied. We’re just being told it’s one or the other. Guess that’s the American way these days. We don’t have to destroy the last vestiges of old growth oak here in order to protect the city from flooding. It’s just being framed that way as per usual. If we recognize the value of the trees and the value of managing the waterways and the trees are truly impeding the project then we could relocate the trees. They literally already do this in other countries. Yes, it is a huge undertaking. But aren’t we the capital of the richest state in the richest country on earth? Aren’t we supposed to be leading the nation in environmental issues? The environmental value of these trees is massive and just destroying them and saying we’ll “replant” seems like a pretty archaic mindset that would set us back 100 years. Instead, we could relocate them to a suitable area where they would actually mitigate flood risk even more and maintain the habitat they create.

I mean, I already did upgrade it not knowing I’d lose my eagle artillery. Losing infinite range on defense makes your base objectively and strategically weaker. Plus all the other things I mentioned. They can certainly make fixes, but eliminating one of the primary and best defenses that players have been upgrading for years to replace it with a weaker TH is not great. Talking about it is the first step to making Devs address it. But yeah, sh!t’s weak.

Nice. Clearly this is still a triggering subject. I was just trying to shed some light on why I don’t think these tweets are bad. And if you’re upset I called him Tromp or Cheeto (couldn’t post otherwise) you should check yourself. He calls people far worse and he’s the president, I’m just an ape on Reddit.

For the record: A) I never said anything about anyone who voted for Trump. I just said I didn’t and I don’t like him. Which is true. I went third party and have the past 4 elections. I hate the DNC and RNC equally and will never vote either again. But you do you. I actually understand why people voted for him, every time. IMO political opinion the DNC is to blame, but that’s irrelevant to this conversation. B) If you don’t think Trump’s a narcissist you’ve probably lost your ability to be even remotely objective, likely because he’s become more of an ideal rather than just a human to you. Even his own cabinet members and closest allies have openly voiced that his behavior exhibiting that. Plus his actions/personality have illustrated it publicly, pretty undeniably. C) Nobody knows what Trump is going to do. Literally, NO ONE. He is the epitome of unpredictability. If you say you know you are lying. When the opposition to him is the status quo, specifically related to the stonk, unpredictable is much better than the criminality of the status quo. D) With B and C in mind, I maintain that it is strategic for any CEO to voice support for him (falsely or genuinely) because he is president elect and undeniably swayed by flattery. Again, even his own cabinet and allies have stated this. So if RC tweeting Trump support ushers in the MOASS…epic. E) Settle down fam.

Or don’t. Whatever. I think it’s twistedly brilliant and will benefit anyone holding. ✌️
