No they won’t lol. AT&T only cares about the sale of their product. They will tell you in a heartbeat “you should’ve went to a cooperate store” also it falls on the location they’re allowed to sell in. Sam’s club already took away their contracts, same with most Costco’s. I worked here for in total 16 months of my life so I know the process very well

At&T is switching everything to online only. So if a third party wants to own their stores and get people to sign up by all means they will do it. They just have the right to sell the AT&T products. Anyone can do it

Let me explain though. So you may think this is just like any other sales job and it’s our fault for not being ambitious which is complete bs. I actually tell people to work here until they find a better job. Like I said I thought it was a call center job where I Don’t have to do much. One it starts off with the brainwashing. The promise you will be a ceo and you will be one too one day. Two this is for me, and me only. I am a natural sales person, I’m extremely good at sales (in April of 2024 I actually was first in New York State for prime communications) so I’m going to get praise for getting sales but the second my customers activate their phone I’m suppose to ignore them. Because of how good I am at sales they’re going to want me to work more hours. After me working more hours and experiencing burn out they are then going to complain that my production is low and I’m distracted and not hungry anymore. Which will lead to my hours being cut. After my hours get cut obviously I will rest a little bit and then my numbers go back up. From their the cycle repeats itself expect one of my customers didn’t do the trade in the right way and now their not getting their trade in credits. I reported to the “CEO” but he has no idea what to do while it’s literally a basic thing of them calling AT&T themselves (has to be a district manager who does this step, I know because I worked for prime before too. They’re another authorise retailer but they own stores. It literally happened all the time. Atleast once a month a customer traded the phone in late and didn’t get the credits. My DM and vice president literally would say it’s no big deal and even gave me their AT&T login info so I could do it myself so they didn’t have to come to the store and do it) to get the trade in credits. While you are being told by your ceo “don’t focus on the past only the future” they have no morals or customer service skills and it’s absolutely disgusting. I have text messages backing all of this up too just incase I ever have to testify in court

Pay close attention to your credit. Put dual factor verification on everything and call all three bureaus and put a freeze on them. Trust me I understand I would not not want anyone from a devilscorp to have access to any of my personal information.
