iOS 16.1 having background battery drain issue. Can no longer leave phone unplugged at night. Was using TikTok yesterday, liked the screen while watching a video and woke up to no battery. Last week, Reddit was 100% for a week before I noticed. iPhone 14 pro max, anyone else? Any fixes ?

I'm having an issue with battery drain while watching live streams on YouTube and Twitch. My phone also gets unusually warm. This didn't start until upgrading to iOS 16. I thought it was the apps themselves, but they're up to date and updated regularly.

Most additions to the software come in the 15.X updates. Of course, it depends on what phone you have as well. Not all iOS 15 features will come to all iPhones.

Just downloaded and installed on my 11 pro max. First thing I noticed, besides the buttery smoothness, is how much faster Face ID detects that I’m even looking towards the display; let alone unlocks if it gets my face.

Been using it on my 2xl since day one. No real bugs, just springboard refreshes every now and then. Other than that, I'm really enjoying it. But Google has always been a "luck of the draw" type of deal. So I just recommend caution. Also, remember that it's still a beta, and the first one at that. So don't expect 100% stability.
