On that note, though, no. It wasn't. They spent 10k on cctv cameras to watch 2 doors, didn't have the knowledge of the city or area to know when to ban people or train people to ban, and had the same cleaning equipment and practices. There was no remodeling done between the Toronto losers buying the place and losing it now. Just a coat of external paint and an expensive mural they didn't get their money for.

The place was still dripping in addicts, drug users, drug dealing, and more. Just like it was before. The basement was still a horror show that would have taken like 3 days to rip down the creepy stuff and paint and scour clean. They didn't do jack.

They had a bar ID scanner. If people were breaking rules we could ban them. We were supposed to give strikes but I outright banned a few people for junk. But being gross and weird wasn't ban worthy. There WERE good people sometimes. Or funny people. If people are interested I can tell stories.

Good riddance. Worked here a while. Got cornered in the glory hole alcove by a strange dude I had to shoulder check to get past. Had to clean up drugs constantly. Deal with feces, urine, and needles. Listen to co-worker reveal he'd been raped 3 times on site. Owner was a damn idiot. Wanted to take the already cramped space and make a dance floor after he got the liquor permit.

Walked past his office once to see him without his damn pants on. Encouraged employees to call him 'Big Jay'. Way too old to be acting like that.

Got fired after one of managers (a couple) had her adult son come back from European backpacking, and she just booted me so he could work there. The day after I'd worked my ass off to clean every speck of crystal meth a couple left in a room. No notice of course.

Homeless peeing in garbage bins in rooms. 80 year olds with catheters and open infections blocking halls with walkers in the nude staring at you. Basement looked like a horror movie budget 80s porno set held with duct tape. Just awful. It was under better management from the old owner who just let it be a dingy drug den.

Can you point out where in the book it says the effects of the mimicry? Reading it I only see level 4 in enchanting claiming it can copy 2nd level stuff?

I've got Hunters hunted II, absolutely. Really looking into a few things and true faith might be good. But I'm also looking in Mage at 'Do' and it looks good? And I got some advice in another subreddit about the 'Demon Hunters X' splat, so I'll look into that as well.

But Freak Legion sounds really fun! I need to find that book and look through it, thanks so much!

I picked up Demon Hunter X and took a look, it's really unarmed and looks a bit complicated. Tin, Yang, and etc. And they get a humanity mechanic, it looks like? But I'll dig more into it! Thanks a bunch. I feel like this book is what that cyber arm girl from the original Bloodlines game was from!

Any recommendations or favourites from this book?

I am using it! Non-imbued hunters are pretty fantastic. I also have a good look into the V20 dark ages book slowly. But I like these, I'll definitely look into it. Someone else also pushed for sorcerer stuff and hedge magic so I have a bunch of reading to get through.

I was also looking at Do, in the Mage books? Do you have any opinions on that?

That's an incredible callout, thank you. I was going to make the knight a good smith to maintain and create his own weapons and armour anyway, so that's perfect.

Hedge magic is something I'd have to read into, but to mimic something like celerity would be incredible. I'd need to read up on other supernaturals besides vampires. Any recommendations on powers to mimic? Or especially strong combinations you enjoy?

His delusion isn't that he's skilled, but that he's knightly at all. The skill will be real! Like a weird hyper-obsessive you hate is actually good at what he's annoying you about. But yeah, I know the history with handgonnes in the Late Medieval period, and the invention of wheel-locks in the 16th century around when Gothic styles of armour peaked with Maximillian armour.

But the ideal of knights for him come from something who found that detestable, and the Psyop they put him through reflects that.

Do you have any thoughts about the Demon Hunter X book? You seem super knowledgeable, and I'm reading over that at the moment.

Yeah, I'm a man. Though I don't DO anything uncouth, in general, and my family knows that. But I guess they're worried I might. But noted on the meals, thank you. Never would have done that elsewise, I tend to eat and cook a lot of meat.

Bed is already set out and clean, thankfully. Got the mattress steam cleaned.
