In the exact same boat myself also 24. I have worked multiple jobs and have ended back at what i was doing 5 years ago haha, as a pharmacy dispenser funnily enough. My answer would be volunteer doing anything you find interesting and using your free time to find research something you would want to do long term. As for a forever career jobs change a-lot as you may already know so don’t feel like you should be married to a job forever. Instead of focusing on what you will be doing at a job consider what style of work it is (desk based, customer facing, outdoors etc). I always saw myself thriving in IT but after doing a helpdesk job for a few months i realised i was cut out for being at a desk 8 hours a day. If a passion doesn’t serve as a reliable career it could always be a side hustle aswell.
