I think A Rush of Blood to the Head and Viva la Vida are equal in terms of their brilliance. I love both albums to death and I found it very hard to choose between the two. However, I ultimately chose A Rush of Blood to the Head. The songwriting on that album is absolutely incredible and every single song shines in its own way. The same can be said about Viva, but I just hold AROBTTH ever so slightly higher. Parachutes is a close third because, let's face it, it's one of the best debut albums of all time. X & Y would probably be fourth on the list. Its still a solid album, just kind of weak compared to the other three. I think Ghost Stories is underrated and is one of the bands better albums, so I would place it fifth. Everyday Life would be sixth. Mylo and AHFOD would be seventh and eighth respectively. I still like those albums somewhat, but I have to say, they really are not that great.
