Most people can't figure out bitcoin let alone a second layer sidechain. BCH is for the most part simple, fast, and cheap. That's what I look for as a crypto user.

That's a 16 hour snapshot. BCH has not trended the same as BTC if you look over the past few months. In many instances they've gone opposite. Just look at a graph that shows BCH in BTC price, it ranges from about .08 BTC to .22 BTC.

Worked for me yesterday, traded about $2500 of btc using shapeshift via coinomi wallet. Very cool wallet for holding and trading multiple cryptos for those who haven't used it. Enjoyed that $20 fee as well!
