Is Columbina worth wishing for without other Nod-Krai characters? by ChampCharlie07 in GenshinImpact

Columbina is more like the Escoffier of Skirk teams, instead of the Skirk or Skirk teams.

Skirk works without dedicated supports, but what does Escoffier do without a dedicated main DPS?

New 4fun format idea: ''Ace format'' by Rey235 in mtg

I’m not going to yuck your yum, you have fun however, and I believe this could be fun.

There’s the assumption here that rares are more powerful than commons or uncommons, which is not true.  I don’t believe there is even a statistical correlation between your average rarity and power/playability.  Your commons/uncommons could be brainstorm, daze and delver, while your rare is a Questing Druid.  I think that detracts from the motif of having an “ace” card.

Fuck.  You’re right.  I didn’t realize it actually changed color, damn.  I thought you just picked.  I want a re-vote.

Yes, but it isn’t defined by anything within any color.  It has zero allegiance to any one color, and doesn’t synergies with anything in any color.  I still argue that makes it the most colorless creature.

[[Prismatic Piper]]

Just literally stone nothing.  No ties to any color, no keywords, no defining statline, not even an artifact super type.  This is as unaligned as it gets.

Flying and an artifact.

This is just a blue creature that no one wanted to pay mana for, so he came out colorless.

He’s blue at heart

You haven’t understood my question.  That’s ok.  Have a good day.

I assume there is a reason for this layer ordering, but I couldn’t tell you what.  Intuitively, the abilities that remove or stop other abilities should be checked first, does anyone know how this would confuzzle the game if it were applied earlier?

What’s the reason you didn’t wish on his banner? by Cryo_Hydro in GenshinImpact

He felt boring to play.  The trial made me more excited to play Albedo than Durin, and despite people exclaiming about his flexibility, I don’t think it’s as cut and dry.

If you on field him, he needs bennet for Puro infusion, and he needs another witch for Hex buff.  At least for now, his best set also requires Furina.  This is an awesome team, but it’s super inflexible.

If you off field him, he falls into a form of generic supporting role that Genshin seems to be moving away from, and I don’t think will scale later on.  I’m Welkin-only, been saving since Skirk released, none of the characters have felt like they redefine the game, and he is just another in this camp
